EVENTS BROWN COUNTY FAIR - “FAMILY FUN FOR EVERYONE!” - 2021 WORLD’S SMALLEST RODEO DACOTAH STAMPEDE STICK HORSE RODEO DATE: Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 REGISTRATION: 2:30 p.m. TIME: 3:00 p.m. AGE LIMIT: Ages 3-8 LOCATION: NVC Tent TO ENTER: Sign-up at the Hitch’N Post Western Store. There is no charge to enter. Contestants will receive a participation bandana and can pick up a Dacotah Stampede Wild Stick Horse (taming the stick horse is the responsibility of the contestant) at the Hitch’N Post. Contestants have the option of using their own stick horses RULES: The contestants may compete in up to three events. Stick Horse Parade: Contestants will parade their Stick Horse around the ring after participating in each event. Cowboy and Cowgirl attire is highly recommended. Prizes for winners in each event will be presented by Hitch’N Post. 1. Pole Bending: Contestants will ride their Stick Horse in and out of a line of poles, circling the last pole and weaving in and out of the poles back to the start/finish line. 2. Barrel Race: Contestants will ride a traditional clover leaf barrel pattern around three barrels. 3. Rodeo Clown Contest: Contestants will dress up and compete for best rodeo clown impersonation. Every contestant receives a bandana for awards! Parents and grandparents earn bragging rights. Flash photos are allowed. Decisions made by judges are final. Pets are not allowed in the buildings, barns, or in the areas where commercial vendors such as concessionaires, machinery or the carnival are set up. Pets are also not allowed in the grandstand. Pets are allowed in the campgrounds and parking lots, but are not allowed beyond those areas. EVENTS BROWN COUNTY FAIR - “FAMILY FUN FOR EVERYONE!” - 2021 LEGO® BUILDING GUESS HOW MANY CONTEST IN THE CUBE In 2021, the Brown County Fair will put out 3 cubes, 2 for adults, and one for children! Kids can find the cube just for them in the Home Arts building! Each day the cube will be filled with candy, and each day a winner will be chosen if the correct amount is Each age group will be given 15 minutes to create a project based guessed. There will appreciation breakfast in the Ken’s Family Tent on Saturday, be one winner per lot and all rocks will be displayed throughout August 21st starting at 7:30 a.m. the week of the fair!
