athletics Camps Butler Baseball Camp This camp is designed to instruct youngsters in the fundamentals of baseball, hitting, fielding, pitching, base-running and game situations. The camp is conducted by the Butler High School baseball coaching staff and team, under the direction of Coach Trent Dues. The Butler program has become an area and state power during the last fourteen seasons. Ages: 4th – 9th Grade Boys (grade is based on the ’20-’21 school year) Fees: $70 (make check payable to Vandalia ACME Baseball) Family Pricing: $35 for each child after the first child pays full price. When registering for private lessons, please be sure to provide as much information on your swimming experience so your instructor can best prepare for your lesson. Private lessons are offered in a 3-pack. Three private lessons will be scheduled at the same time each week and can be completed within a 4-week period. aquatics Adult Swim Lessons If you are an adult (16 or older) and are uncomfortable in the water, or have no previous swim lesson experience, then this class is for you. Students will learn basic swimming techniques and key water safety skills. The class will be led by an instructor who will guide students through a series of progres- sive activities. Students will move through the activities at an individual pace while building confidence and comfort in the water. All levels welcome. Age:16 & older Class Size: 3 minimum / 8 maximum Class length: 60 minutes Fee: $50 Resident / VRC Member; $60 Non-Resident Registration: https://vrc.coursestorm.com Frogs & Tadpoles Day(s) Dates Time Join us for this exploration of water safety. This class is designed for young TUE, THU 5/11 - 6/3 8:30 - 9:30 am children (1-3 years old) who are most at-risk for accidental drowning. TUE, THU 6/8 - 7/1 8:30 - 9:30 am Together, parents and children will learn key safety tips and skills while TUE, THU 7/6 - 7/29 8:30 - 9:30 am playing games and singing songs. You will be able to meet our summer camp staff who will be on hand to answer any questions you might have about summer camp.
