2021 - 2022 BUDGET SNAPSHOT Education During a budget season of unprecedented challenges, the Assembly Majority and I fought for a state budget that includes a historic investment in our children’s futures. After many years of advocating for NY to achieve the promise of the Campaign for Fiscal Equity, I am so thrilled to see a plan for the full funding of Foundation Aid over the next 3 years, 60% of which will be distributed in the upcoming school year. Please keep in mind that the vaccines do not reach their full efficacy until up to two weeks after the final dose, and that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines require two doses to be effective. PUBLIC Queens Public Library’s remote services include pick-up and return service, free remote printing, and a wide variety of online resources including everything from LIBRARY e-book loans to career coaching. I have been successful in securing funds for adult literacy programs and many other library priorities; I continue to advocate and work with community groups for a Court Square library, we’re not giving up!
