March 15 Campership deadline April 1 Deposit due $50/scout April 23 Earlybird Deadline May 2, 10 Leader meetings for updated camp kickoff! 1:00 pm the Sunday of your arrival!! Leader/SPL Meeting!
NOW OFFERING A LONGER WEEK OF CAMP! SUNDAY-SATURDAY SMs and SPLs will arrive 1 o’clock on Sunday, Units have staggered arrival CHECKOUT SATURDAY MORNING!! Pancake Breakfast 8am Saturday Morning! Invite your families! $7/ non-camper Plaque hanging after breakfast! Units depart camp by 10am
LUNCH/SIESTA COMBINED BLOCK Combined period for flexibility- do not have to eat as a unit AFTERNOON SCHEDULE CHANGE OPEN AREA after lunch/siesta NEW Patrol Challenges after Dinner! Points towards Campwide Game!
CITs will develop their skills across all 4 weeks of camp! With the opportunity to work as staffers for the summer weekends! Just for the price of 1 week of camp! CITs are 14, 15 year old scouts Develop leadership and teaching skills with help of senior staffers Working as a group, CIT’s will grow personally ,and learn camp life. We have a great summer experience planned for them! After completion of CIT program, Scouts will be able to teach at the merit badge weekends
‘Drone Experience’- during merit badge periods New merit badge offerings: Aviation, Electricity, Inventing, Robotics, Engineering, Exploration Sea Perch Program Limited class size, Signups Sunday Monday-Thursday
Offering camp staples LIKE: Free Swim Woodburning Tomahawk Throwing Camp-wide Cribbage and Chess Tournament Scoutmaster Splash Swamp Romp Tenny River Run Paddle boarding Merit Badge offerings!, Citizenships, Chess, Fingerprinting On Friday, new and improved Camp-wide Game!
Plus these new things for scouts to enjoy! Dutch Oven Fry Action Archery Branding at the Blockhouse Unit Leader Training Battle Boats New Older Scout activities During the week, SPLs will help design Our new and improved Camp-wide Game!
Scouts will take merit badges periods 1,2,3 Sailing Takes place of afternoon open areas Monday-Tuesday instruction Wednesday-Thursday open sailing on Panther pond
Similar to sailing program, scouts will use their afternoon open area time
Units will have 2 nights to cook in camp! Use this for Rank Advancement and Cooking MB Have younger scouts who need Tenderfoot and Second Class advancement? Your unit can raise flags in the morning! Scouts who need Totin’ Chip? Firem’n Chit? Come to Scoutcraft during open areas
On Sunday, Troops will form patrols Does not have to be regular patrols! List of choices for patrol activities given patrols give their choices Sunday Night Patrol will be given schedule, challenges will take place after dinner! Each night Monday –Thursday Patrols will do 2 challenges, using scout skills and teamwork to earn points towards camp wide game on Friday Patrol Challenges will take the place of Troop Rotations, but take place after dinner
Join your fellow Arrowmen in a week of cheerful service to camp! Arrowmen will spend a full week at camp for only half the cost! Camp will offer some program areas, have merit badge offerings for half the day, the other half will be giving service to camp! Will offer Brotherhood conversions during this week as well
Nighttime Archery Program- Limited availability, Signups Sunday Black Powder Demo for older scouts! (14+) SCUBA Program (All 3 MB periods) Scuba BSA Award, Scuba Diving MB and the NAUI Certification Tenny River Overnight
Units who signup for a week of camp before March 1st will get a special Camp Hinds Cookie for every scout that is signed up and deposit paid. Bring the Cookie to the Trading Post this summer at camp and get a special souvenir from the 2021 summer season!
