24 SOCIAL BUZZ 25 OCC & ACC MEMBERS GATHERED FOR 23RD INTER-CLUB MIXED BOWLING LEAGUE THE FIRST MONTHLY BOWLING MEDAL ON 11 NOVEMBER 2017 CONCLUDED ON 29 OCTOBER OCC’s first Monthly Bowling Medal took off on an exciting start on 11 November at Orchid Bowl @ OCC. This monthly event serves to brush up the competitive skills of players and foster bonds After 24 weeks of intense matches between among members who share the same passion for bowling. A total of 25 OCC and ACC members 12 Clubs, a victory dinner was held at Seletar took part in the fierce battle, where players bowled for five straight Single Games to emerge as the top 3 scorers of the Medal. After the eventful game, the bowlers were treated to a delightful Country Club to celebrate the remarkable annual dinner at Sports Hub and the prize presentation took place shortly after. Well done bowlers! league. The night began with a buffet dinner, followed by prize presentations and a live band performance. The highlight of the night was the exciting lucky draw. DIVING INTO THE 22ND SUPER SPRINT SERIES Our 22nd Super Sprint Series – Kid’s Challenge saw 83 young swimmers from 7 swim clubs, aged 6 to 12 years old participating in the competition. The pool was adorned with colourful lane ropes which added to the cheery atmosphere. Proud parents cheered on the young and budding swimmers as they dived into the water.
