MARCH DINING UPDATES We are excited to present your 2022 Social Calendar, and hope that our Members are getting excited about some of the fun events that we have planned! As we step into March, it's only appropriate that I tell you what we have planned for St. Patrick's Day here at The Club. On Thursday, March 17, we present you with Luck of the Irish! Our Reserve Club Pub Special will be an Irish Tapas and "Whisky" Tasting from 6:00 - 7:00 PM, including our usual Happy Hour specials! For a $17 cover charge, Members will receive a tapas buffet of corned beef and cabbage sliders, mini shepherd's pie, mini fish and chips, and an Irish Whisky tasting! Martin & Phillips Blues Revue will be joining us for the evening, providing us with Irish, Folk, Blues, and Roots tunes. Don't forget to make reservations for dinner following Luck of the Irish! Lunch: PAIRING THEM WITH YOUR FAVORITE COCKTAIL Tuesday - Sunday IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA. 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Lounge: Wednesday - Saturday INSTRUCTIONS 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM 1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. PICKLEBALL UPDATES WITH ANDREW BURROW Your pickleball court resurfacing is full speed ahead! The asphalt pad for our new courts has been put down and needs 30 days to cure before applying the surface, fencing is now going up, and we have added an additional court for our Members' enjoyment. Spring Outside Your Comfort Zone The Amazing Aiken Race something for all skill levels Discover Aiken in a new way by participating in Village Fitness' Amazing Aiken Race! Join us at Village Fitness on Saturday, March 5, to take the Amazing Aiken Race Challenge. At several of your race day destinations, you'll work with your partner to complete physical challenges to move on to the next stop. We'll have team members stationed at each stop to check you in, and they'll be happy to share modifications that make the tasks accessible no matter your fitness level. Remember: it's all about having fun! We are testing your brain and your muscles on race day! You'll be required to solve riddles that lead you to many of your challenge destinations, and it is also how you'll figure out where to meet up for our post-race celebration, which includes a light lunch and two drink tickets. MASTERS WEEK 2022 WITH YOUR DIRECTOR OF GOLF JOHN KELLER April 4 - April 10 In a few weeks, the best players in the world convene in Augusta to compete for the title of “Masters Champion”. Dustin Johnson, Rory Mcllory, Justin Thomas, Jordan Speith, Collin Morikawa, and Viktor Hovland all have their eyes on the title and are certain to create the final round back-9 drama that has become synonymous with The Masters. Golf fans from around the world will be visiting Aiken and Augusta to attend The Masters Golf Tournament. During Masters Week, The Reserve Masters Week Schedule Club invites Masters patrons from around the world to enjoy our beautiful golf courses and The Reserve of Golf Fees Club experience. Sports & Social Members: $55 Greens Fee + Cart Fee($24.00) All Guest Categories: 18 Holes | $125. Includes Greens Fee, Cart Fee and Taxes. All Guest Categories: 9 Holes | $75. Includes Greens Fee, Cart Fee and Taxes. (In effect Monday, April 4th—Sunday, April 10th) Member Tee Time Masters Draw Party Reservations: 2 Weeks Wednesday, April 6th @ 5:30 PM Open to all Reserve Club Members and their in Advance Accompanied Guests. Details coming soon. The standard Reserve Club Tee Time Policy will apply to Masters Week. Tee times and tee time requests are to be made through ForeTees. GOLF UPDATES A note From RCWGA 18 Our season is about to begin with beautiful temperatures in the 70s! The play day committee has prepared some great games for us to start the season as we take on the adventure of using Golf Genius. At the end of the month, our Tournaments begin with “Spring Fling” on March 30th & 31st. It is a 2 day best score for each hole competition, finishing with a lunch and the winners announced on the 2nd day. Sign up for all of our regular Wednesday Play Days and our Tournaments on ForeTees. Look forward to seeing you Ladies out on the Course. See Alicia 6 days a week from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM Tuesday-Sunday for sandwiches and beverages of all sorts! On Tuesdays and Saturdays, hot dogs are available, and on Sundays you can grab yourself a delicious breakfast sandwich! Don't forget about $3 Fireball shots on Wednesdays.
