Havering PCNs Havering PCNs have declined to extend their phlebotomy service offer. In order to ensure Havering residents are still able to access their appointments within Havering, NELFT are providing additional Chairs at the Elm Park Clinic. We will use feedback from our patient survey to inform whether and if so where additional provision is required. Barking and Dagenham PCNs Barking & Dagenham PCNs have declined to extend their phlebotomy service offer. We are working closely with NELFT to mitigate for any shortfall in provision in the area. NELFT are in the process of identifying additional space in Barking Hospital. We will continue to keep you updated on progress. We will also use feedback from our patient survey to inform where across Barking and Dagenham additional provision is required.
Engagement • We have developed a patient survey which can be completed online via a text and email link once the appointment has finished. • This link can also be shared via email for those who do not have a mobile phone. • We continue to share the link to our dedicated email address in our local and NEL wide stakeholder updates to invite local feedback. • We are working closely with Healthwatch to reach out to those who do not have web/mobile phone access for their feedback to ensure that feedback is representative. • A frequently updated list of all sites and provision is available on the CCG website, as well as on the NELFT website and is linked to from the BHRUT website. • The above mentioned list of sites is also shared regularly with practice colleagues for patients. Patient survey results to date We are now able to report on our first month of patient survey data. 3518 patients responded to the survey and we are pleased to report that the feedback has been very positive overall. A sample of the questions and responses are broken down below: • How easy did you find it, to get an appointment? 3,447 said “very easy”, or “easy” 71 said “difficult” • Overall, how was your experience of our service? 3327 said “good” or “very good” 191 said “very poor”, “poor” or “ok” • Were you happy with the distance you travelled to your appointment? 3343 said “yes “ 107 said “no”, 66 stated “not applicable” We will continue to share this survey via text message and email with all those who attend an appointment. We will continue to learn from these responses in order to shape the service into one that meets the needs of the local community.
