2019 TREKKING TRAILS Choose your own adventure. FIND THE BEST HIKE FOR YOUR AGE, SKILL LEVEL, AND INTERESTS Hiking groups consist of no more than 10 students and are led by 2 experienced & highly trained mountain guides.
HOW IT ALL WORKS Each trip includes: -Meals -Group Gear -Accommodations -Activities Not included: -Airfare or travel to and from the trip start/end location -Personal gear & clothing A day in the life: 7am: Wake up with the sun, help prepare breakfast with your team. 8am: Get ready for the hike; prepping all the layers you'll need for the day & lacing your boots up tight. 9am: Set out on the trail - today is the long day, but that's no sweat because you've really enjoyed talking with new friends. 12pm: Stop for lunch on an outlook, chat with your guides about life back home. 2pm: Finish 8 miles in early afternoon & take a break playing a game with some other campers. 5pm: Help prepare dinner together and laugh over the funny moments of the day. 9pm: Stay up a little too late talking to friends in your bunk or tent. 10pm Fall asleep heavy, but happy.

NEW HAMPSHIRE APPALACHAIN TRAIL EXPLORER July 1-9 Grade 6-8 $1,395 Day 1-3: day hike around Start/End Location Lonesome Lake Hut Manchester -Boston (MHT) Day 4-7: thru-hike from hut to hut, enjoying the alpine wildlife and Accomodations resting with big meals 9 nights backcountry cabins Day 8-9: hike along the ridge and 1 night in youth hostel summit Mtns. UTAH KING'S PEAK EXPLORER June 14-18 Gr. 6-12 $395 Day 1: Hike back to valley and set Start/End Location up camp near Dollar Lake Salt Lake City, Utah (SLC) Day 2: Explore lake and streams around your new home Accomodations 4 nights backcountry camping Day 3: Six mile out and back push to Summit King's Peak Day 4: Pack up camp and backpack out through forests Challenge Level: 5 Utah’s highest peak has drawn many hikers to it’s challenge and beauty. This 50-miler out and back hike will have you weaving through forests, along crystal clear rivers, and through expansive glacial valleys, all on your way to the rock- scramble to reach the peak. Get ready to see the brightest night sky you’ve ever laid eyes on while camping under the stars.
JAPAN NAKASENDO FIELD STUDY June 16 - June 27 Gr. 8-11 | FULL FOR 2109 Day 1-3: bond with your team as Start/End Location you explore Kyoto Osaka (ITM) /Tokyo (HND) Day 4-7: hike the first section of the Nakasendo experiencing the Accomodations local customs and food 6 nights with local hosts Day 8-10: finish the trail and 5 nights in youth hostels explore Kiso Valley 1 night in mountain hut Day 11- 13: hike Mt. Fuji and spend Challenge Level: 4 a day in Tokyo Follow the ancient roads of Samurai through a section of post towns along the old Nakasendo Way from Kyoto to Tokyo. Stay in local Japanese inns, eat authentic cuisine, and visit historic sites. Embrace a new culture and step back into history as you challenge yourself to walk these history-rich cobblestones.
