Liverpool is in the north of England, making travelling within the UK and Liverpool Ireland extremely easy. I spent so many weekends in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales because they were all within a few hours on a cheap train or plane. It made travelling every weekend a feasible option which was extremely attractive to me. My favourite thing about living in Liverpool was the culture around the city.
