DIY Mortarboard It isn’t graduations without wearing a mortarboard. Make your own ‘Grad Hat’ and add your ANU flair with some of our printable decorations. And then celebrate, till it’s ‘Hats off’! You will need: > Access to a printer 6. Decorations Celebrate your success, wherever you are. Set up decorations for your big day with help from friends and family. Why not bake a cake and adorn it with one of our cake toppers? Cake Toppers Pages 7-9 contain easy to cut cake toppers (including options in the academic college colours) that can double as decorations for your DIY mortarboard. After you have printed and cut these out, you can attach them to toothpicks or wooden cooking skewers (both available at your local supermarket) using clear tape or blue tack. Celebration buntings Pages 10-13 contain easy to cut celebration buntings. After you have printed and cut these out, use a hole punch to create holes for a ribbon or string in the top two corners. Feed the ribbon or string through the first hole (going behind the flag) and back through the second hole. Secure the ribbon/string with clear tape on the back once you are happy with the placement of all the flags. 10

Photo props Pages 16-18 have been set up to be printed A3 to allow for a closer-to-life-size print. After you have printed and cut these out, you can attach them to wooden dowel sticks (available at craft/hobby stores or hardware stores) or to wooden cooking skewers (available at your local supermarket) using clear tape or Blu Tack. 16

In the Zoom app, click on your profile in the top right corner (this is an icon with either your picture or initials), and click Settings. 2. On the menu to the left, click Virtual Background. 3. You’ll see a few default background options provided by Zoom, such as an outer space scene or blades of grass. You can choose one of those by clicking on it. You will see your background change automatically. If you have a green screen, you can choose the option to use green screen. Using an ANU Zoom background 4. Download the images from this pack (found here https://bit.ly/3juJuG8) that you want to use, and save to your computer. 5. In the Zoom app, on the Virtual Background Page, click the + icon next to Choose Virtual Background. A box will pop up allowing you to upload a photo from your computer. Click on the image you downloaded, and it will appear alongside the other pictures as an option for you to choose from. 6. To remove any images you upload from Zoom, tap the X in the top left corner of that image. Next time you use Zoom, the background you’ve selected for your last call might automatically ETTA’S O VE D 2020 appear on your next call. Remember to check TOP TIP ETTA APPR your background before you enter a new call. Change your Zoom background on the mobile app 1. When you log into your account and join a meeting, tap the three dots at the bottom right of the screen to open the More menu. 2. Tap Virtual Background. 3.
