Booking & Contact Information Deposits and Payments In order to confirm your reservation, deposits are due immediately upon booking your trip. The balance is due 90 days prior to the commencement of your trip. We accept corporate or personal cheques, and for the convenience of our guests VISA and MasterCard for deposits and final payments. Crossroute Lake: This is a clear water lake with a variety of structure. The lake is home to a good population of largemouth bass, northern pike and lake trout. Straw Lake: Home to the Straw Lake gold mine in the 1930’s this lake is a shallow, stained lake with many weed beds. Straw Lake pro- vides good fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and northern pike. Sucan Lake: Accessible from Straw Lake via a wide creek, Sucan Lake is a shallow lake that is home to walleye, northern pike, small- mouth bass, largemouth bass and perch. Sullivan Lake: This lake has traditionally been an excellent producer of large northern pike. Largemouth bass and lake trout also inhabit the lake. Yoke Lake: Slippery Winds Lodge is located in a bay at the east end of Yoke Lake. The lodge is on a peninsula that separates Yoke and Straw Lakes. This is a clear water lake with deep holes, many shallow bays, points and mid-lake reefs providing excellent habitat for largemouth & smallmouth bass, lake trout, northern pike, walleye and also world-class muskie. Airline and Travel information Delta and Skywest Airlines partner to provide service to International Falls via Minneapolis with daily flights on Sky- west Airlines. Any guests not travelling on the specified flights as arranged by Slippery Winds Lodge will be financially responsible for the expense of any additional chartered or scheduled aircraft re- quired to reach the lodge. Anyone voluntarily choosing to arrive or depart on dates differing from those arranged by Slippery Winds Lodge will be financially responsible for any additional costs incurred. No credit will be given for early departures unless arranged in advance.
