2nd Annual American Legion Post 116 Golf Tournament T he American Legion Post 116 hosted its 2nd annual golf tournament this past Memorial Day weekend at Eagles Ridge Golf course. The event was a huge success with over 110 golfers participating. In addition to all the golfers we had over 50 sponsors that donated money and prizes to the event, many that were post mem- bers. With perfect weather and after a good day of golf, everybody returned to the post for a great meal and the awards ceremonies. This year’s funds were split up between the Fuquay Varina High School Band and the Post 116 Memorial Monument. Over $10,000 was raised to help these two great programs. As with any event, it could not have happened without all the efforts and assistance from our Golf Committee and the numerous vol- unteers who came out to assist. Please visit our website below to see a complete list of our sponsors and donors. A special thank you goes out to our Title, Gold, and Silver Sponsors whose generosity helped us achieve this success: https://alpost116nc.org/index.php/golf-tournament/ Title Sponsor: ECLS – Environmental, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, S.U.E.
