    As a reminder of Alfred’s Baptism, his casket has been sprinkled with
    Baptismal water. Then, a pall, recalling the white garment of his Baptism,
    is placed on the casket.
    “If we have died with Christ, we are also to live with Christ in glory.”

Alfred Oliver Bonnette,
                                       94, of Port Neches, died
                                       Saturday, September 4,
                                       2021, at Harbor Hospice
                                       of Beaumont. He was
                                       born August 20, 1927, in
                                       Port Arthur, to Leonise O.
                                       Riviere Bonnette and Angus
                                       M. Bonnette.

                                     Alfred    retired   as    a
                                     serviceman for Southern
                                     Union Gas Company after
                                     forty-two years of service.
                                     He enjoyed fixing things,
                                     fishing, and hunting. He
                                     also loved watching sports
    especially Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros and Rockets, and
    PNG ballgames. Alfred was so proud of his family, especially
    his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Survivors include his children, Roger Bonnette and wife, Debbie,
    of Groves; Alfreda Page, of Port Arthur; James Bonnette and
    wife, Marvie; Tim Bonnette, all of Nederland; Belinda Eulitt
    and husband, John, of Minot, Maine; Catherine Austin, of Port
    Arthur; Anthony Bonnette, of Nederland; Lawrence Bonnette
    and wife, Krissy, of Missouri City; and Mary Fischer and
    husband, Kirwyn, of Porter; twenty grandchildren; nineteen
    great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa Dora
    Anderson Bonnette; son, Richard Bonnette; and five siblings.
