In line with Summer in Abu Dhabi, Retail Abu
Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Culinary are partnering to
make Abu Dhabi the world’s summer
destination. With SUMMER OF STYLE,
SUMMER OF ICE CREAM, & SUMMER OF
OFFERS as the supporting campaigns from
June 17 to August 31, exclusive culinary and
retail experiences, one-of-a-kind products, and
beautiful beaches, Abu Dhabi is without a doubt
one of the world’s most sought-after
destinations this summer.
Abu Dhabi Culinary introduces the SUMMER OF
ICE CREAM, positioning the emirate as the go-to
dining destination during the summer campaign
from the 17th of June to the 31st of August.
Abu Dhabi Culinary shines a spotlight on the
expanding gastronomical landscape with their
unique and vibrant activations, incorporating a
series of international immersive brand
collaborations and residencies, interactive pop-
ups, first-to-region dining experiences, exciting
promotions, and more, including a Guinness
World Record attempt, all topped with the
refreshing sweet theme of Ice Cream!

ICE CREAM LAB
Ice Cream lovers, prepare to have your
gastronomic palette blown this summer at our
exclusive Ice Cream Lab! The popup will feature
international ice cream labels on rotation, bringing
new tastes to savor all summer long.

Instagrammable moments this summer not to be missed! A series of Instagrammable
inflatable artworks have been specially commissioned for the season, including a work by
world-renowned visual artist, Cyril Lancelin, who will be exhibiting an installation for the first
time in Abu Dhabi! Stay tuned to find out where and when you can snap away to your heart
and feed’s desire.
CYRIL LANCELIN
French artist Cyril Lancelin has been commissioned to create a grand installation in YAS Mall
in celebration of the Summer of Ice Cream. The transcendent experience is one of matter and
form, composed of hundreds of juxtaposed inflatable balloons into The Pyramid Sphere that
catches the light and immerses fiction and reality. Don’t miss the experience at YAS Mall from
July 1st to August 31st!

Retail Abu Dhabi introduces the SUMMER OF
STYLE, once again positioning the emirate as
the go-to shopping destination during the
summer campaign from the 17th of June to the
31st of August.
As the world’s style destination, Retail Abu
Dhabi will bring in a first-of-its-kind virtual city-
wide fashion film! Featuring something for every
shopper, Retail Abu Dhabi will unveil a series of
dedicated experiential programs throughout the
11 weeks, including international brand
collaborations, styling, exhibits, master classes,
and interactive pop-ups.
Beyond the fashion experiences, Abu Dhabi will
also see the biggest city-wide sales this
summer, enticing shoppers with discounts of up
to 80% across 3,000 stores.WHAT’S HAPPENING IN RETAIL?
FASHION FILM: RITA ORA IN ABU DHABI
Retail Abu Dhabi will bring in a first-of-its-kind
virtual city-wide fashion film, starring the gorgeous
singer, songwriter, and actress RITA ORA!
A spectacular tale of celebrity, glamor, and fashion
shot in front of the city’s most picturesque
backdrops, the cinematic piece will weave in an air
of tongue-in-cheek energy, where our leading lady
goes on a hunt for the city’s best ice cream. From
her home studio in London, Rita will jet to Abu
Dhabi, running into some of our favorite regional
personalities, as they help her in her search.

International teen pop music group from Los
Angeles, Now United, have donned fashion
by UAE designers for an epic shoot that has
taken place in the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The
project was a collaboration with local
publication, Zahrat Al Khaleej and
international creative collective Art Factory
Studio. In anticipation for their concert, the
shoot was the perfect blending of pop
culture, high fashion, and Abu Dhabi
architecture, making for addicting content
generation that will live on social platforms
throughout the summer.
