Reasons to travel Okehampton and Dartmoor National Park Okehampton station is on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park and is at the start of The Granite Way, an 11-mile multi-use trail between Okehampton and Lydford. Highlights include Meldon Viaduct, Okehampton Castle (English Heritage) Lydford Gorge (National Trust). Travelling with Bikes: We expect the Dartmoor Line to be popular with cyclists. Customers are advised that there is very limited space onboard for bikes.
