ABOUT
The Passion of Andrea 2 is the new creation for three dancers
by Simone Mousset, winner of the Lëtzebuerger Danzpräis 2017.
It is like trying to hold soap when it’s wet. It is the solution that
constantly escapes us. It is magic trick, deadly game, dance
performance, farce, debate, musical, sci-fi monologue, all in
one. Masquerading as a sequel to an earlier, non-existent
version of itself, The Passion of Andrea 2 is a mischievous
con artist of a dance piece about feelings of uneasiness, the
inability to fully understand, and the painful desire for more.

BIOGRAPHY
Simone Mousset trained in classical and contemporary
dance in London at Trinity Laban, the Royal Academy
of Dance, and London Contemporary Dance School
as part of the company EDge. She has worked with
choreographers and companies such as Rachel
Lopez of the Nieta/Dog Kennel Hill Project, Matthias
Sperling, James Wilton, Tony Adigun, Igor Urzelai
and Moreno Solinas (UK), Anu Sistonen (FI),
Jean-Guillaume Weis (LU), Caracalla Dance Theatre
(LB), and others.
She started to make work in the context of Les
Emergences at Trois C-L Centre de Création
Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois and Resolution at
The Place London. Mentored by the choreographer
Koen Augustijnen during the first TalentLAB at the
Grand Théâtre du Luxembourg in 2016, and in the "M Y W ORK IS AB OU T
same year selected to participate in the Internationale CREAT ING IMAGINARY
Tanzmesse nrw in Düsseldorf, Simone’s pronounced
taste for the surreal and the absurd continued W ORLDS T HAT Q UES T ION
to grow.

Recipient in 2017 of the Lëtzebuerger Danzpräis/ POSI T ION OURSELV ES IN
Luxembourgish Dance Award following her fake ballet-
