41st Annual Marvin C. Goldstein Lecture Series Expanding Horizons with Adhesive Dentistry April 26, 2019 ABOUT Dr. Marvin C. Goldstein was a noted Atlanta orthodontist and 40 Ye philanthropist who for 20 years sponsored an internationally of Exc ars renowned dental clinician to lecture at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Goldstein believed the integrity of ellen the dental profession could best be preserved by promoting clinical in CE ce excellence and sharing information with colleagues. Following his death in 1997, Mrs. Rita (Goldstein) Wolfson arranged to perpetuate her husband’s contributions to the dental profession through a gift to Augusta University that will continue the Annual Goldstein Lectureship. Augusta University and the dental profession continue to be served through the generosity of the Goldstein Family. GUEST LECTURER Sillas Duarte, DDS, MS, PhD, Associate Professor and Chairman, Division of Restorative Sciences, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry Guest Lecturer at the University of Southern California. Dr. Duarte is also Director of the Advanced Program in Operative and Adhesive Dentistry and Sillas Duarte, DDS, MS, PhD the Director of the Master of Science degree in Biomaterials and Digital Dentistry. He is the editor-in-chief of Quintessence of Dental Technology (QDT) and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals. Dr. Duarte has lectured on and is published nationally and internationally on esthetic dentistry and adhesion. He has Presented by the Marvin C. Goldstein Family with been involved in teaching cutting edge clinical techniques and The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University technologies related to esthetic and adhesive dentistry. Dr. Duarte’s and the Division of Professional and Community Education scientific work has been supported by governmental and commercial at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, grants, and he serves as a consultant for several manufacturers.
