Keith Banks President U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management KEITH BANKS is president of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, which provides integrated investment, trust, banking and lending services to wealthy and ultra-wealthy clients. He also oversees Global Wealth & Investment Management Banking, which delivers a broad range of customized banking, credit and lending solutions to help meet the needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and BofA Global Capital Management, which offers money market funds, offshore funds, customized separate accounts and sub-advisory services to institutions and high-net- worth individuals. Banks is a board member of the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, and he sits on Bank of America’s Chief Executive Officer’s Operating Committee and Global Diversity & Inclusion Council. Banks previously served as president of Global Private Client, Institutional and Investment Management for Bank of America. This business included U.S. Trust, Institutional Retirement & Philanthropy, Alternative Investments Asset Management and Columbia Management. During his career at Bank of America, he also served as president of Global Wealth & Investment Management and president and chief investment officer of Columbia Management. He joined Bank of America in 2004, following FleetBoston Financial’s merger with Bank of America. Prior to this, Banks held the roles of CIO and CEO of FleetBoston Financial’s asset management organization after joining the company in 2000. Prior to joining FleetBoston, Banks was a managing director and head of U.S. equity for JP Morgan Investment Management. During his 16-year career at JP Morgan, Banks also served as global head of equity research, head of U.S. equity research and a portfolio manager, and equity research analyst for the chemical and textile industries, which was his first role at the firm when he started in 1984. Banks began his investment career as an equity analyst at Home Insurance in 1981. Banks earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Rutgers University and his MBA degree in finance from Columbia Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the American Bankers Association Investment Advisory Committee. Banks sits on the Rutgers University Board of Overseers, Board of Advisors of Columbia University Medical Center and Columbia Business School Board of Overseers. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Lincoln Center and is a Director of the Police Athletic League of New York.
Joseph P. Quinlan Managing Director and Chief Market Strategist U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management JOSEPH QUINLAN is managing director and chief market strategist at U.S. Trust. In this role, he provides economic and market insights and executes the firm’s overall investment strategy, both domestically and globally which is frequently cited in such media venues as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and the Financial Times. With many years of financial services experience, he previously served as a senior global economist/strategist for Morgan Stanley and started his career at Merrill Lynch. Joe regularly debriefs policy makers and legislators on Capitol Hill on global trade and economic issues. He has testified before the European Parliament. He is also a board member of Fordham University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science and serves on Fordham University’s President Council. He is the author, co-author, or contributor to 11 books. He has published more than 125 articles on economics, trade and finance that have appeared in Foreign Affairs, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. He regularly appears on CNBC, as well as Bloomberg television, PBS and other media venues. He has earned his BA in Political Science/International Affairs from Niagara University and MA in International Political Economics and Development from Fordham University.
Jason T. Baron Managing Director Head Portfolio Manager of Social Investment Strategies U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management JASON BARON is the head portfolio manager for Social Investment Strategies at U.S. Trust. He is the creator of U.S. Trust’s “Socially Innovative Investing” suite of products, serving clients across asset classes including domestic equities and domestic taxable corporate fixed income. Jason is a publishing member of the CIO’s Thought Leadership Team where he writes on topics of ESG and sustainability. He is a frequent guest lecturer on sustainability and social investing topics including at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, the Harvard Kennedy School, The Yale School of Management, SOCAP, SRI in the Rockies, the Family Office Exchange, Wall Street Without Walls, the Milken Institute and the Aspen Ideas Festival and others. Since joining U.S. Trust in 2010, Mr. Baron has brought to U.S. Trust the ability for institutional and high-net-worth clients to align their investment portfolios with their values, while seeking a comparable market rate of return. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, Jason served as the group head for the Community Investing Team at Lehman Brothers and later Barclays Wealth Management, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of socially responsible and mission-oriented investment products. He began his career as an equity analyst covering the diversified financial sector at Keefe Bruyette & Woods in their Hartford, CT office and was a member of the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” team in 2003. Jason earned his B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington DC where he served as a 1789 ambassador and his M.B.A. from Yale University’s School of Management where he focused on investment management and strategic philanthropy. He is a member of the Hitachi Foundation’s investment committee and general Board of Directors, and previously served as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of The City School, a Boston based non-profit focused on education.
Ann Limberg Head of Philanthropic Solutions and the Family Office U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management ANN LIMBERG is Head of Philanthropic Solutions and the Family Office for U.S. Trust. She directs the provision of strategy, services and outreach within these dual areas, advancing their synergy and aligned objectives across the wider organization. As Head of Philanthropic Solutions, Limberg oversees strategic, fiduciary, and administrative services to help individuals and families grow, manage and preserve philanthropic capital. She also leads U.S. Trust’s direct engagement with nonprofit organizations, facilitating mission fulfillment and organizational stability through investment policy, governance, board and staff education, and development. As Head of the Family Office, a specialty practice within U.S. Trust, Limberg oversees a suite of integrated offerings for multi-generational families with complex needs. Working in concert with a family’s advisors, the practice offers integrated financial strategy, investment consulting, fiduciary and administrative services, and cross-generational educational initiatives designed to foster sound stewardship and effective wealth preservation and transfer. Limberg has worked at Bank of America since 2004, taking on increasing responsibilities within the firm. Her previous roles include Northeast Division Executive for U.S. Trust, where she oversaw client outreach and wealth management strategy across 20 offices in nine states, and Regional Executive, where she led the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware offices of U.S. Trust. Concurrent with her Regional Executive role, Limberg served as New Jersey state president for Bank of America. Limberg’s career also includes senior leadership positions with Fleet Boston Financial, NatWest and Citibank. Limberg has garnered a number of professional and civic honors. Irish America magazine recognized her as a Wall Street 50 honoree. In addition, Limberg is a member of the City University of New York’s Business Leadership Council and the Committee of 200, an organization of leading women executives dedicated to fostering growth and increasing opportunities for women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders worldwide. Limberg received her B.A. in humanities with a minor in business administration from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has also completed executive education through the Cannon Trust School.
Jackie VanderBrug Senior Vice President and Investment Strategist U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management JACKIE VANDERBRUG, Senior Vice President and Investment Strategist, is responsible for the strategy and support of impact investing at U.S. Trust. A member of the CIO’s Thought Leadership Team and co-chair of the Impact Investing Council, Jackie brings a broad array of experiences including entrepreneur, analyst and strategy consultant. Jackie led the development of the emerging field of gender lens investing as a founder of the Women Effect Investments initiative. As Managing Director at Criterion Ventures, she was instrumental in the establishment of the pioneering social investing fund, Good Capital. She led Business Development at iBasis, growing the global VOiP firm through a successful IPO and cofounded WORK IN PROGRESS, a non-profit social enterprise. Her understanding of the interrelated aspects of social change was first formed as a domestic policy analyst for the U.S. Congress and she formed her strategy skills while as a management consultant for CSC Index. Jackie serves on the Advisory Boards of the Opportunity Collaboration, The International Council for Research on Women, and the Trustees of the Donations. She received her M.B.A from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and her B.S. in Mathematics from Calvin College.
