Clinical Advances in a Restorative Practice May 29-31, 2021 PURPOSE This course is designed to bring together the art and science of clinical and esthetic dentistry and will focus on many of the clinical issues we deal with in our daily practices from interdisciplinary treatment planning to new technologies to execution. Additionally, strategies and techniques for implant utilization in a general practice will be discussed. This program promises to provide a potpourri of clinically relevant topics that we as clinicians can implement immediately into our practices to improve the quality of patient care and satisfaction. OBJECTIVES At the completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Recognize how to avoid the number one failure in practices • Discuss which of the three only ways to build an occlusion is most predictable • Review the “must know” principles of occlusion • Identify why some patients have an easy bite and others are difficult • Recognize which patients are safe to work on and which ones are dangerous. • Implement the three steps to delivering exceptional esthetics with any case • Discuss facial analysis, anterior smile, and posterior smile • Review how to evaluate and treat the challenging gummy smile patients • Review the functional smile design checklist • Organize complex functional and esthetic cases.
