See the enclosed flyer for more informa on about County 4‐H contests for 2021. Some addi onal contests will happen at the Tooele County fair in August. Favorite Foods 4‐H Contests Favorite Foods is a favorite 4‐H contest! The format is simple and fun and will start a love of 4‐H con‐ tests that will last a life me. First: sign up in 4h.zsuite.org so we know you are coming. Then on June 10th make your favorite food at home and bring it to the 4‐H office at 7 pm. You’ll need to bring it in a serving dish with a serving utensil so it has a nice presenta on. Also bring a placemat or tablecloth, a centerpiece and the recipe for the judge. A er you set up your table space, a judge will come to you and sample your dish. They will look at the recipe and ask you a few ques ons about your dish. Things like “why is this your favorite food?” and “what was hard/easy about making it?” Be ready to tell about the nu‐ tri on of the dish. Smile a lot and look at the judge when you talk so they can hear everything you say. That’s all there is to it. (Think “show & tell”). Ques ons?
