This guide lists the many opportunities to GET YER KILT ON... so come join us. Don’t forget, after the parade, join us in a toast at the official Post Parade Party held at Sony Hall on 46th Street, music sponsored by Belhaven and NH Scot. Enjoy yourself, and truly excited to see you all! Slainte Kyle Dawson President, National Tartan Day New York Committee National Tartan Day New York Committee In 1999, the first parade to celebrate National Tartan Day took place in New York City. By 2002, the parade had grown to the point that it needed a larger formal structure to take it forward. The National Tartan Day New York Committee was formed as a nonprofit to organize the Parade and coordinate all associated activities, which has now expanded to NYC Tartan Week. Members include representatives from founding organizations: St. Andrew’s Society of the State of New York, New York Caledonian Club, The American-Scottish Foundation, Clan Campbell, and Carnegie Hall. 150 55th Street • 3rd Floor New York, NY 10022 (212) 980-0844 • nyctartanweek.org • info@nyctartanweek.org Ta r ta n W e e k 2 0 1 9 | 3
