WELCOME Welcome to the nineteenth regatta here in the beautiful Bay of Islands. From small beginnings with just thirty seven boats in 2003, entries now top one hundred each year. It has become a firm fixture on the New Zealand yachting calendar. Last year we worked to become a more sustainable regatta therefore minimising the effect on the environment. We were very pleased to be awarded gold status which shows the effort you all made to help recycle and reduce waste. This year we are taking another step in this direction by following the example of other regattas and having the Sailing Instructions on our App. and online. Please continue to help us with our efforts as we aim to achieve platinum status. Thank you to all our volunteers, both on and off the water, who give up their time to make this event such a success. Thanks also to our sponsors who support us every year, even in the uncertain times we are facing at the moment. Wishing you a great regatta and look forward to seeing you again next year for twentieth regatta.
