Wouldn’t you rather be on a bike right now? Flying along with nothing between you and the ground but two tubes of pressurized rubber? Feeling the burn in your legs as they power you through yet another mile of pure unadulterated freedom? Because that’s exactly what a bike means: freedom. Freedom to see the world on your own terms, at your own pace. The chance to move like the wind. Trouble is, it’s tough out there for people on bikes. No respect. Nobody in your corner. Well, you’ve got us. We’re the League of Michigan Bicyclists. We’ve got your back. We tell the folks in Lansing what people on bikes need. We get laws passed — like the law that said a bike rack over your license plate doesn’t deserve a ticket, and the one that said e-bikes are a thing and not the same as mopeds. That was us. We got those ones through. That’s not all. We’ve got plans. Big plans. Just one thing: they can’t happen without you. Time to step up. Become a member today at LMB.org/join. Let’s ride. 13

Our streets and trails are safe and accessible to people of every age, race, gender, ability, and economic status. Help us celebrate 40 years – join today: LMB.org/members. 16
