BEHIND THE SCENES Well, what can I say about the month that was? I should have been enjoying some Mum-time with my daughter in Tauranga, I was looking forward to enjoying a stunning performance of Jesus Christ Superstar, and, oh yes, there should have been another issue of Spirit Magazine – our annual Building & Renovating issue - delivered. Sadly, none of this happened, but I’m being positive and focussing on the things that matter most: good health, spending time with family and friends, enjoying good food and wine and appreciating what we have. The everyday things are really very important. Already we’re into the last quarter of the year, and we have plenty to look forward to; warmer temperatures, longer sunshine hours and everything begins to green up. Daylight Saving is upon us, and FAV THINGS 8 the season of fetes and fairs begins with our own Boulevard Day. Summer is not far away! At this time of year our building industry also ramps up, and this issue features an eye-catching home at Lake Hood, and an incredible renovation story. You’ll find plenty of building and renovation ideas and inspiration in these pages. We’ve welcomed a new team member into the Spirit Magazine office.
