Children’s Class Descriptions:
Victory Mighty Kids Taekwondo: Ages: 5-8: The Mighty Kids Program offers a practical, progressive
curriculum that challenges students while rewarding their accomplishments in manageable
increments. The Mighty Kids Curriculum makes it possible for children to earn a promotion
approximately every three to four months. For each promotion the student receives a white belt with a
horizontal color stripe. The progressions of color stripes are: yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, red
and brown.
Victory Stand Strong Family Taekwondo: Ages: 8+: Whereas other sports activities create division in
the family, our Taekwondo class is one of the few activities that families can enjoy together. The entire
family will benefit from the process of setting and achieving goals and from the personal rewards that
come with striving for excellence! Our emphasis remains on developing exceptional individuals by
means of focusing on rock-solid habits and values. Fun and purpose driven High Energy Drills are
regularly conducted. This class is also the next natural progression for children graduating from our
Mighty Kids program.
Cost: Monthly Tuition w/ ongoing registration. Classes are pro-rated accordingly.

Victory Gymnastics Wee Flip (Parent participation) Ages: walking to 3 years; Co-ed: This is a parent
participation class in which toddlers develop large motor skill coordination, balance, and strength. In
addition, Wee Flip kids and parents will be taught body positions, simple stretching moves and skill
progressions. This class will introduce sequencing concepts, and help your kiddos learn to follow
directions and stay on task, all in a FUN and SAFE environment. Parents, come have as much fun as
your kids do!
Victory Mighty Kids Gymnastics 1 & 2 Ages: 4 - 5 & 5 – 6; Co-ed: Participants will learn basic tumbling
skill mastery using safe and progressive methods. Gymnastics apparatus is introduced with an
emphasis on strength, balance, coordination and courage. Educational themes such as numbers,
letters, colors, patterning and shapes are incorporated into every class. Character development
concepts such as kindness, helpfulness, following directions, focus, perseverance and so much more
are integrated into the total Mighty Kids Gymnastics experience!

Victory Girls Gymnastics Basics 1: Ages: 6-8: This class emphasizes tumbling skill mastery in addition to
introducing basic gymnastics apparatus skill progressions. Each class begins with a fun, high energy
warm up activity; the body of the class includes stretching, obstacle courses, and skill mastery
stations. Class ends with our fun but demanding Fitness Challenge! Character development continues
to be an integral part of the curriculum.
Victory Girls Gymnastics Basics 2: Ages: 8-12: Gymnastics Basics introduces students to beginner level
tumbling and gymnastics progressions and skill mastery. The same Gymnastics Basics 1 class format
will be utilized. However the emphasis is on developing a technically correct foundation upon which
students can build and advance in the sports of gymnastics and tumbling, but also in cheerleading,
diving, figure skating and so much more! As always, we use the super FUN sport of gymnastics as a
vehicle to promote positive life-skills in our students!

KinderDance: Parents love seeing their boys and girls thrive with our friendly teachers, age-appropriate
music and dance choreography, fun fitness, playful movements, and imaginative activities.
Kinderdance Austin programs will help your child improve coordination and fine motor skills, build self-
esteem and project confidence!
Cost: $11 per class. Session cost based on number of classes.

Fitness & Wellness Class Descriptions:
HIGH Low Fitness: HIGH Low formula allows for participants to enter a steady state cardio training
zone. This type of training allows participants to push themselves at a steady pace the entire class
instead of experiencing a HIIT style burnout. Participants will experience the same energy and intensity
of HIGH but with a different training approach and less impact on the joints.
Stand Strong Family Taekwondo: Our Taekwondo class is one of the few activities that families can
enjoy together. Our emphasis remains on developing exceptional individuals by means of focusing on
rock-solid habits and values. Fun and purpose driven High Energy Drills are regularly conducted. This
class is also the next natural progression for children graduating from our Mighty Kids program.
Total Body Fitness: Includes functional fitness, yoga, pilates, barre moves and free weights. This class
will help you: Strengthen your core throughout all exercises; Build strength, stamina, flexibility,
coordination, and balance; Improve posture for efficiency of movements; Decrease or prevent chances
of injuries and falls; Decrease or prevent joint and back pains.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga: A series of postures that are linked by breath. The student uses breath to connect
and move from one pose to the other and classes may include sun salutations. Classes start out with
stretching and breathing and can vary from traditional vinyasa flow to slow flow and stretching.

Bobbin Lace ‐ For Children and Adults
This Drop-in class teaches the fine art of lace making.

Youth Recreation scholarship program - Oct. 1 -Sept.30
The City of Pflugerville offers Youth Recreation Scholarships to
families who reside in the legal city limits of Pflugerville, and
who also meet certain income requirements. This program
awards funding to children, 18 or younger, that can be used
towards classes, camps and programs offered by the
Pflugerville Recreation Center.
Applications and program guidelines are available at
pflugervilletx.gov/CDBG. A Limited number of packets are
available at the Recreation Center, located at 400 Immanuel Rd. For more
