Stage School Australia Term 4 - Online Classes Stage School Australia is excited to offer Term 4 classes online! These fun weekly sessions will get your brain and body moving and ensure students can continue developing their performing arts skills online. Students have the option of selecting Dance, Drama, Screen Acting, and Beginners classes or a combination of disciplines. Over the course of 4 weeks, students will work with one of our Stage School teachers to cover skills relevant to your chosen subject. Places for these classes are limited and you can create your own timetable (subject to availability). All that’s required is access to a Zoom compatible device and a reliable internet connection!
Term 4 Online Course Schedule 2 - 29 November - 4 Weeks Pick your session(s) and create a schedule that suits you! Students aged 8+ years can create their own timetable from a range of time and weekday options – do one style of class, two or more! Beginner students (4-7 years) can choose from one of three timeslots. The session(s) you choose will occur at the same time on the day you select, once a week for 4 weeks (subject to availability). AGES 4-7 BEGINNERS CLASSES Class Day & Time Come on a journey with the Beginners OnStage in Options (choose one) their ‘Terrific Travels’. A playful exploration of some fun destinations as well as modes of transport in these song, Foundation 4 - 5 years dance and drama classes. Jump in your rocket ship and (Friday) let’s blast off to the moon. Or climb aboard your pirate 9am - 9:30am ship as we set sail for Treasure Island! 9:45am - 10:15am Each class will be limited to a maximum of 8 students 10:30am - 11am and will run at the same day/time each week. Beginners 5 - 7 years Foundation (4 yrs): $41.80* 4 week course (Saturday) *$51.80 for non Stage School students. 9am - 9:40am 9:45am - 10:25am Beginners (5-7 yrs): $55.00* 4 week course 10:30am - 11:10am *$65.00 for non Stage School students. AGES 8+ DRAMA CLASSES Class Day & Time Options (choose one) Over the course of 4 weekly 1-hour sessions, students will work with one of our Drama Directors on a fun Junior 8 – 10 years scripted piece. NB: If you have previously completed (Mon & Wed) 4:45pm – 5:45pm a drama workshop/course, we will have all new scripts (Saturday) 9am - 10am for the next 4 week programme. Inter 10 – 12 years Each class will be limited to a maximum of 8 students (Mon & Wed) 6:00pm – 7:00pm and will run at the same day/time each week. (Saturday) 10:15am - 11:15am Cost: $77.00* 4 week course Senior 13+ years *$87.00 for non Stage School students. (Mon & Wed) 7:15pm – 8:15pm Prices shown are GST inclusive. (Saturday) 11:30am - 12:30am NB: Listed age ranges are for the age the student turns (or will turn) in 2020. Age groups are approximate and subject to change. Indicative age groups are Junior (8-10 years), Intermediate (11-12 years), Senior (13+). Senior 13+ years (Wed & Thurs) 6:30pm – 7:20pm Inters/Seniors (11+ yrs): $66.00* 4 week course *$76.00 for non Stage School students. AGES 6+ BOYS DANCE CLASSES Weekly warm-ups, stretches, combinations and dance Class Day & Time skills with an Australian Boys Dance Academy teacher Options (choose one) to stay ‘dance fit’ and healthy. Group 1 (6 – 7 years) Each class will be limited to a maximum of 8 students (Mon) 4:45pm – 5:25pm and will run at the same day/time each week. Group 2 (8 – 9 years) (Mon) 5:30pm – 6:10pm Group 1 & 2 Cost: $55.00* 4 week course *$66.00 for non Stage School students. Group 3 (10 – 12 years) (Mon) 6:20pm – 7:10pm Group 3 & 4 Cost: $66.00* 4 week course Group 4 (13+ years) *$76.00 for non Stage School students. (Mon) 7:20pm – 8:20pm AGES 8+ SINGING LESSONS Class Day & Time In one-on-one 30 minute Zoom classes, one of our teachers will work with you to coach your solo Options (choose one) singing, help you with basic singing technique and Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs & Friday develop your confidence to present a singing solo 4:45pm, 5:20pm, 5:55pm, or audition. 6:35pm, 7:10pm & 7:45pm Saturday Cost: $132.00* 4 week course 9am, 9:35am, 10:10am, 10:50am, *$142.00 for non Stage School students. 11:25am, 12pm, 12:35pm Prices shown are GST inclusive. & 1:10pm NB: Listed age ranges are for the age the student turns (or will turn) in 2020. AGES 8+ SCREEN ACTING 101 Class Day & Time Options (choose one) Each week students will work for 1 hour with a Junior 8 – 10 years different tutor covering the basics of acting for the (Wednesday) 5:00pm – 6:00pm camera – monologues, casting, chat to camera, screen (Saturday) 1pm - 2pm tests, self-tests and scene work. Each class will be limited to a maximum of 6 students Intermediate 11 – 12 years and will run at the same day/time each week. Stage School Australia is taking reasonable precautions to ensure students’ safety online by using single-use, session-specific passwords and recording the sessions. 7. For Beginners Creative Play and all Dance classes, parents/guardians should ensure their student has safe and adequate space (approximately 2m x 2m square space required). 8. Stage School Australia provides tuition via online classes and does not provide supervision for students. Supervision of students remains the responsibility of parents/guardians.
