2022 investor partnership OPPORTUNITIES WHO WE ARE: The Loveland Downtown District is a dynamic collaboration between three nonprofit organizations supporting downtown: Loveland Downtown Partnership (LDP), Down- town Development Authority (DDA) and Downtown Business Alliance (DBA). Each entity plays a key role in the revitalization of Downtown Loveland. From organiz- ing partnerships and people (LDP), to brick and mortar development and beautification projects (DDA), to the promotion and connection of existing businesses (DBA), we all work together to create an atmosphere for people to come enjoy the downtown district. Our current overall mission is: “To create a vibrant downtown that provides a safe, dynamic environment to gather, live, educate, shop, work and play.” WHAT WE DO: The Loveland Downtown District works each year to produce a series of signature events, promotions and advertising to create a simple call to action: Come downtown! Popular events include our monthly Night on the Town event where art galleries open exhibits, retail shops stay open late and restaurants and breweries offer specials and new craft beer releases. Our One Sweet Summer event series is a highlight of the sum- mer with live music and activities in The Foundry Plaza. Another fun annual celebration is our hometown tradition of Festival of Lights, where we host a tree-lighting ceremony, live music, holiday market vendors, Santa Claus and more for the whole town to enjoy! 2
One Sweet Summer As we’ve worked with many outside promoters to host events downtown, the challenge always remained — to host an event, you need a conducive space. This typically means closing city streets and working hard to support the event with electrical power needs, ample seating, shade, and an inviting environment. We were in need of a great plaza space where we could create that inviting atmosphere and activate it frequently to continually draw attendees into the Loveland Downtown District. The great news is that we now have one! In addition to the ongoing program of events, promotions and advertising we currently manage, we succeeded in a major ex- pansion in 2019 with the addition of an outdoor plaza at The Foundry development and a new event series called One Sweet Summer. The event scheduling we’ve held in The Foundry Plaza is designed with the goal in mind of bringing both local residents and tourists downtown for a series of activities and events throughout each week. We’ve thought of ways for the rest of downtown to join in and offer options for attendees to start or end their evenings at various businesses to bring together the greater Loveland community. 4
