2022 Kindergarten Classes
• Classes are named after National Parks to tie in with our land, air, sea
  and air themed public artwork.
• In 2022 we will have 8 Kindy classes, 160 students

Kindergarten Days
• A Rotation: Monday, Tuesday and
  Alternate Wednesday (ODD WEEKS)
• B Rotation: Alternate Wednesday
  (EVEN WEEKS), Thursday and Friday
• You will receive a calendar with
  highlighted days
• Calendar re-sets every term

Kindergarten Times
• Classroom doors open at 8.20am
• Gates open just before 8.20am
• Instruction time begins at 8.35am
• 15 minutes family time
• School finishes at 3.00pm,
  Wednesday at 2.00pm

After School Care
• OSH Club is our onsite provider
• Operate in the under covered area
• Enrol by visiting oshclub.com.au
• Before school 6.45am-8.45am
• After school 3.00pm-6.00pm
  2.00pm on Wednesdays)

Walk to School Program
• Partnered with ‘Your Move’
• Encourage children to walk, ride or
  scoot to school
• Promotes sustainable practices and
  reduces traffic issues
• Promotes healthy body and mind

• Kindy students required to wear a
  uniform
• Tudor Uniforms
• Uniform shop open Tuesday
  mornings before school

• School polo, black pants/skort
• Optional Kindy t-shirt
• School hats are required
• School jackets available for cooler months
• Shoes, not thongs, sandals with a back appropriate
  for warmer months
• Rain coats and gumboots encouraged for wet
  weather play

Factions
• 4 Factions
• Your child’s faction is on the front of
  your enrolment pack
• This determines the colour hat you
  need to buy
• Faction shirts are also available but
  not essential for Kindy

Booklist/Stationery and
Personal Items
• Campion Bookstore are our providers
• Instructions for how to order and collect
  will be on the booklist
• Booklist to be communicated to parents
  via email and the school website
• Do not label stationery items
• Cooking and Craft contributions

Voluntary School Contributions
• $60 per child
• Can be paid through Campion
• Voluntary contributions are used
  to provide resources
• These resources support the
  teaching of all learning areas

What to Pack
• LARGE school bag
• Recess and lunch in separate

  and close independently
• No need for a cooler bag
• We promote healthy eating
• Please try to minimise packaged foods
• Pre-open yoghurt pouches
• Water only
• Pack food your child can eat independently
• Nut aware school: Please NO nut products

Foster Independence!
• Toilet training
• Ensure your child can dress themselves
• Shoes and socks
• Encourage your child to speak in sentences
• Encourage manners
• Encourage your child to ask for help when
  needed

Support foundation skills
• Read to your child everyday
• Encourage your child to draw and paint
• Sharing and taking turns
• Hand strength/pincer grip
• Have a strong and healthy body
• There is no need to teach your child to
  write their name, we will teach them the
  correct formations when they are ready
