Equipment Package

 All students are issued an equipment package.
 The package includes: Hardhat, Compass, Clipboard,
    Rite-in-the Rain Notebook, Engineer’s Scale,
Protractor, Ruler, Hand Lens, & Dot Grid and Waders.
 The cost of this packet is included in your course
fees and handed out the first or second day of
        class on-site
     2020 Costs:
          Approximately $115 ($62, misc. equipment;$53 waders)
Why Waders?
 Shoe size will be asked on
      SFE application, this is how
      waders are sized.
 We put out a purchasing bid • Waders are mandatory pieces of
to buy in bulk and lower the equipment. You will not be able
cost for you. Last year the to use personal waders for labs
cost was $53/pair. or field trips.

 These waders are a safety • Personal waders may not be
item, not a luxury item. sufficient in insulating against
                                         electricity while shocking.

                                     • Personal waders may also
increase the spread on AIS if
used outside of class and in lab.

Waders are used in other on campus CNR classes during labs,
so if they are kept, they can be useful throughout your college career.
