Schenley Park delivers over 100,000 spectators and 2,500 show cars over the Race Weekend. We host a second weekend of racing at Pitt Race Complex in nearby Beaver County that has grown into a stand-alone race event and features big muscle cars and plenty of all-out racing at a dedicated track just 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh.

2021 PVGP RACE WEEK SCHEDULE The Grand Prix returns with a full schedule of vintage racing, car shows and motorsport activities. PVGP Historics at Pitt-Race July 16-18, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm This is a 3-day weekend of historic racing and motorsport activities at the Pitt-Race Complex in Beaver County. 250 racers compete in 7 race groups. Marque of the Year Corvettes will race against Vipers on Sunday. Admission is $20 per day. Charity Rides and Karting are also part of the activities. Black Tie & Tailpipes Gala Friday, July 16, 7:00 – 11:00 pm The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix throws a formal party to launch our 10- day event. This black-tie formal has become one of the hottest tickets in Pittsburgh during the summer. Event sells out each year. For the first time, we are taking the party to Valley Brook Country Club. $295 per person with a complimentary Happy Hour and fireworks display. Shadyside Invitational Car Show Monday, July 19, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm This exclusive car show on Shadyside’s Walnut Street, where several thousand shoppers view 125 rare, classic and exotic vehicles. Cars participate by invitation only and include show cars rarely seen at other car events. This is a prelude to the upcoming weekend’s International Car Show. Countryside Tour Tuesday, July 20, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm The PVGP stages a spirited tour through the countrysides of western Pennsylvania. The Tour is limited to 50 vintage cars manufactured in 1983 or earlier. A picnic lunch is included and served at Jamison Farm in Latrobe, PA. Waterfront Car Cruise Tuesday, July 20, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm Enthusiasm for Race Weekend starts to build at the Waterfront in Homestead. This event has 750 cars of all types, including custom cars, street rods, tuners, race cars and motorcycles. $5 donations requested to help raise money for our charity partners. Downtown Pittsburgh Car Display Wednesday, July 21, 10:30 am – 2:00 pm With Race Weekend fast approaching, the PVGP puts on a city-wide car display in downtown Pittsburgh with car displays at the U.S. Steel Building, PPG Place and Market Square.
Grand Prix Tune-Up Party Wednesday, July 21, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm The party moves to the SouthSide Works, where the car show will cover the streets around the Cheesecake Factory and the Hofbräuhaus. In addition to raising funds for our charities, this event has developed into an excellent opportunity to display exotic cars. Drivers Reception Friday, July 23, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm A line-up of 100 or more race cars depart the paddock in Schenley Park at 6:30 pm and parade on the track for a driver reception at the Schenley Park Cafe. The racers and their crew are given a private reception and then parade back to the paddock at 8:30 pm. International Car Show at Schenley Park Weekend July 24/25, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm 2,500 show cars cover the Golf Course at Schenley Park - one of the region’s largest car shows. British Car Day is on Saturday, with all other shows displayed all weekend. Participants are arranged within specific manufacturer shows. Corvette will be honored as our Marque. There will be an impressive display of vintage Indy cars on display and on the track! Vintage Race Practice & Qualifying Sessions Saturday, July 24, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Our vintage race cars will be inspected and practice in the morning through Schenley Park's streets and try to qualify for Sunday’s featured races in the afternoon. Vintage racing is an amateur sport where the entrants pay an entry fee to compete. Racers are arranged into race groups according to engine size and year. Sports cars up through the early 1970s are eligible. Vintage Race Day at Schenley Park Sunday, July 25, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Race Day begins with a roar as our country’s largest vintage race contested on city streets starts at noon. Many drivers consider it the most challenging course they race worldwide. Racers will be on track at Schenley Park most of the morning, warming up and making final adjustments in preparation for the featured Hofbruäuhaus Winners Circle Races that afternoon. Vintage Indy in the Park Weekend, July 24/25, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm “The Greatest Cars in Racing” will roar through Schenley Park for exhibition laps on the 2.33-mile road/street course circuit on Race Weekend. Visit the trackside display that features a fan-friendly paddock, where you can see the cars up close and meet the drivers. Vintage Indy™ is dedicated to the history and preservation of Indianapolis 500 championship cars. Al Unser Jr. is scheduled to appear. Sponsored by Bobby Rahal Auto Group.

PVGP ADVERTISING AMENITIES Outdoor Advertising Sponsors at or above Gold Plus level ($20,000) appear in our outdoor advertising campaign. The Vintage Grand Prix received 42 full-size billboards (30 sheets each) one month before the event. Sponsors must commit by May 1 to meet the deadline. Posters 3,000 Race Posters (left) are sold at Race Week events and online. Fans and auto enthusiasts have been collecting them since 1983. Logos of Gold sponsors and above are included. Promotional Posters (right) 3,000 of these 11” x 17” two-sided posters are distributed throughout the city to promote the event and our sponsors. Logos of Gold sponsors and above are included. Banners Sponsors can display their banners at Schenley Park and PIRC in full view of 200,000 race fans. Sponsors must produce their own banners and are responsible for hanging and removing them. Brochures 10,000 brochures are distributed at auto events and car shows throughout the spring and summer. Brochures are also available for sponsors to distribute. Sponsors at the Silver level and above will have their color logo included on the back cover. Volunteer T-Shirts Sponsors at Silver level and above will have their logo included on the back of the official PVGP volunteer T-Shirts are worn by over 1,400 volunteers and supporters during the 10-day Race Week. Most volunteers continue to wear them for years afterward.
2021 SCHENLEY PARK SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES There is no other event quite like this in Pittsburgh or the country. Imagine a beautiful park setting complete with rolling hills, shade trees and 2,500 show cars lining the fairways at Schenley Park, watching rare vintage cars race through the streets to the delight of tens of thousands of fans. The PVGP offers an extensive selection of sponsorship opportunities. Race Weekend at Schenley Park is the perfect venue to activate your sponsorship; showcase your product; entertain customers and employees, or watch the races and car shows with friends and family. Our sponsorship packages have a provision for you to erect a tent or display at Schenley Park, or you can select passes into our Lamar VIP Pavilion where your guests can enjoy complimentary food and drink in this exclusive tent at turn 15 of the racetrack. Packages have different allowances for tent sizes. We can also create a custom package to suit your needs. Bronze This entry-level package provides an economical way to place a 10’ x 20’ tent on the show field. Race Program advertising and banner placement are included. Silver These packages are ideal for sponsors who want to entertain on the golf course. This allows a 20’ x 30’ and 30’ x 30’ tents and is one of our most popular packages. You can display cars outside your tent. Gold Sponsors can erect a 30’ x 40’ or 40‘ x 40’ tents at Schenley Park or bring their own show properties. This is a popular package for auto dealers and manufacturers wishing to display up to 8 vehicles. This package includes the sponsor’s logos on our posters. Platinum This package is for sponsors that wish to entertain at Schenley Park in a big way. Allowance for tent space increases to 2,000 square feet. The sponsor’s logo is included on the 42 local billboards – one of our most coveted amenities. Premier This is a package for sponsors who wish to take full advantage of Schenley Park's hospitality opportunities, plus the promotional exposure with our billboard partners. Square footage allowance increases to 2,400 and allows for multiple locations of display materials or tents. Patron Tents The growing popularity of our event combined with limited real estate on the golf course has created a new opportunity for organizations to host a single-day tent. The PVGP erects tents by turn 16 and equips them with large round tables and chairs for you to host on Saturday, July 24, or Sunday, July 25. Single-day prices, including tent/tables/chairs, are $5,000 for a 20’ x 20’ Bronze tent and $7,500 for a 20’ x 30’ Silver tent. INDIVIDUAL EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Vintage Ride Experience Sponsor – Saturday, July 24 $6,500 During Saturday’s lunch break at Schenley Park, our racers graciously offer rides on the actual race track in their vintage cars to raise funds for our charities. Your company name is included as part of the event. Staged from below the VIP Tent on the golf course, this package contains 10 Saturday VIP tickets, signage and 10 certificates for free rides. Italian Cortile Sponsorship – July 24/25 Weekend $2,500 - $15,000 Our Italian Courtyard in Schenley Park has grown into a national showcase for Italian cars and associated products. There is a spectacular Italian car show with judging and lunch within the Pittsburgh Golf Club on Saturday. On Sunday, the show continues, and participants gather at the Westinghouse Fountain for a private trackside view of the races. Patron Parking Sponsor - Sunday, July 25 – Reserved by Table Magazine $7,500 Patron Parking is a 1-day private parking area with the best view of the track on Race Day in Schenley Park. Your name will be included on advertising and promotional items. Includes a 20’ x 20’ tent and space for 4 cars alongside. Your logo can also be included on the participant gift. International Car Show Sponsor – July 24/25 Weekend $15,000 Your name will appear on all advertising and banners for the International Car Show on the Schenley Park Golf course with over 2,500 cars. This sponsorship opportunity includes a 20’ x 20’ tent for your use. You can also get involved in judging and awards for the Best of Show. Kick-Off Rallye Sponsor – Sunday, July 11 $5,000 Car enthusiasts match their driving skills against the field. You are invited to navigate this “mystery course” through the streets of western PA. Your company name would be included in the title and you would receive 2 free entries and reservations for 10 people at the lunch afterward. Black Tie & Tailpipes Gala Sponsor - Friday, July 16 $1,000 - $5,000 A unique Grand Prix formal party where auto enthusiasts, sponsors, racecar drivers, media and celebrities gather to toast Race Week at Valley Brook Country Club. Sponsorship packages include tickets, recognition during the gala along with VIP passes and amenities at Schenley Park. Sponsorship of the fireworks display is also available.
VIP Lounge at Pitt Race Sponsor - July 16-18 $5,000 The 2nd floor of the Conference Center at Pitt Race Complex is available for the PVGP Historics weekend to watch 250 thundering muscle and historic racers. This air-conditioned private lounge with the best view of the track. Advertising, promotional amenities, passes are included. Walnut Street Invitational Car Show Sponsor - Monday, July 19 $7,500 This public event in Shadyside is an opportunity for spectators to see a diverse collection of cars and is a preview for the Schenley Park show. Includes your name in the event title and on advertising, 20 passes to the party at Mario’s East End Saloon. You are also entitled to display 2 vehicles and receive VIP tickets at Schenley Park. Waterfront Ride & Drive Sponsor - Tuesday, July 20 $5,000 The Waterfront Car Cruise is held at the Waterfront Shopping Center in Homestead with over 750 classic and vintage cars on display and 5,000 spectators. The vast parking lot is perfect for a display and the surrounding roads are ideal for a Ride & Drive event. Downtown Car Display Sponsor - Wednesday, July 21 $5,000 Car enthusiasts display cars in several plazas. Your name will appear on advertising and 3 banners can be displayed at each site. Includes space for 3 vehicles in the show. Includes 4 tickets to the VIP Pavilion each day of Race Weekend. Grand Prix Tune-Up Sponsor - Wednesday, July 21 $2,500 - $5,000 The party moves to the SouthSide Works, where the car show will cover the streets around the Cheesecake Factory and the Hofbräuhaus. Sponsorship Includes complimentary car show spots, advertising, signage and VIP passes to our Race Weekend at Schenley Park. Westinghouse Memorial - Saturday, July 24 $10,000 One luck sponsor will have the use of the tent beside the Westinghouse Memorial Pond all to themselves on Saturday, July 24 to entertain clients and employees. The entire area sits under 100-year old oak trees and provides a shady and private vantage to watch the races. PVGP to supply a 20’ x 20’ tent with tables and chairs beside the Westinghouse Monument. Viper Spotlight – Weekend July 24/25 $2,500 - $5,000 The Dodge Viper is being recognized at the Spotlight Car all week long with a special celebration planned for Race Weekend with Roy Sjöberg, the father of the Viper and Design Team leader will appear at the Pittsburgh Golf Club at the Cortile. Sponsorship includes tickets, signage and other amenities.
VIP PAVILION Sponsor packages include tickets to the Lamar VIP Pavilion as an option to erecting and catering your own tent. Lamar hosts this VIP Pavilion near turn 15 along the racecourse in Schenley Park on the July 24/25 weekend. Food, refreshments, beer and wine are provided with linen-covered tables and cushioned chairs in the comfort of a private tent. Trackside tables are provided for the serious race fans who want to get close to the action. Tickets available only to sponsors and cannot be purchased separately. Sponsors can purchase additional daily tickets for $250 each. Relax in comfort under the spacious tent and mingle with VIPs and media. Guests are given a wristband that allows them to re-enter at any time during that day. Participating sponsors are welcome to entertain their employees or customers within the pavilion all weekend. Tent is open 10:30 AM until 4:00 on the weekend. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult, but do not require a ticket. Three new MINIs are wrapped and displayed at Race Week venues and take hot laps on the race tracks. Sponsors get their logos placed on the cars for the entire two weeks of Grand Prix events. This provides excellent exposure and a unique experience to put your guests on the race track in front of thousands of spectators. Cars appear throughout Race Week at Pitt Race – July 16-18, Walnut Street Car Show – July 19, Waterfront Car Cruise – July 20, Downtown Car Show Display- July 21, the Tune-Up – July 21 and on track at Schenley Park- July 24/25. Includes tickets for track rides between races at Schenley Park weekend. PVGP HISTORICS AT PITT RACE – SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES The PVGP presents the 17th year of Historic Races at Pittsburgh International Race Complex on July 16-18. This opening weekend features exciting racing with American muscle cars and the faster European cars from the ’60s and ’70s. The venue offers a unique racing experience at a dedicated track. The 2.8-mile Circuit will challenge racers and excite the fans. This 400-acre Motorsports Complex is located 40 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh. The circuit is carved out of the scenic western Pennsylvania terrain, creating an unmatched experience for racers. The 6-acre Vehicle Dynamics Area is ideal for autocross and new vehicle test drives. The PVGP Historic Races allow sponsors the opportunity to put customers behind the wheel for a unique driving experience. There are numerous opportunities for sponsor displays and activation. A RACE WHERE EVERYBODY WINS! More than 1,000 volunteers give their time and skills to organize and stage all 10-days of races and events. These dedicated volunteers work year-round to keep our event as the model for vintage race and car shows throughout the country. Since 1983 the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix has donated nearly $6 million to its charity partners to benefit individuals in western Pennsylvania with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
