WHY | WHO | W H AT | HOW | WHEN When doing the programme, I was involved in various projects at work, but I never managed a team of my own. Doing the programme was part of my personal development journey & it was such a rewarding experience. Coupled with my knowledge & skills the programme has also provided me with the necessary tools to help me make more informed decisions & apply what I have learnt during those few weeks, in the working environment. Each of the faculties shared a wealth of knowledge & experience. The one that particularly stood out for me was “The Business Environment” presented by Kevin Henderson. This made me realise how important is it for me to know “who I am, what I want & where I’m heading” before I could help my team do just that. Up until today, I still refer to the very important notes in my notebook I made for myself during the sessions. I was recently appointed to manage my own team & this was a great achievement for me. This would not have been possible if I didn’t apply all the effort as well as all the valuable information, I received during my NMDP course. I highly recommend this programme to all people interested in leadership & even existing leaders. You never have enough insight in leadership, this is an ongoing learning process. The New Managers’ Development Programme is suitable for supervisors, Lylé Ruiters team leaders and persons taking on first Past Participant time management roles. www.usb-ed.com | New Managers’ Development Programme
