Saturday, June 26, 2021 Mr. Big & the Rhythm Sisters Mr. Big and the Rhythm Sisters, the hot new pick on the Gulf Coast, has an interactive approach and unique versatility winning success at the South’s most première social events and conventions. UNMASKING FRAUD CPE: 4 General Wednesday, June 23 | 1:00pm – 4:30pm Donna Ingram, CPA, CFE, CFF Donna is President of Donna M. Ingram, CPA, PC in Vicksburg. She previously was a partner at May & Company, LLP for 18 years and has practiced accounting for over 30 years. Donna is a graduate of Michigan State University. She was a member of the MSCPA Peer Review Committee for over a decade, serving one term as Chair. She also served as Chair of the MSCPA’s Accounting and Auditing Committee. Donna served on the AICPA’s Peer Review board from 2003 to 2005. Donna is involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations and has been a presenter of accounting, auditing and fraud related courses around the country. He received his Masters of Law Degree in Taxation from the University of Florida. Throughout his career, Trip has been active in professional and community organizations such as Kiwanis Club, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts of America, Mississippi State University Alumni Association, Harrison County Bar Association, and The Mississippi Bar. He has also conducted seminars for the AICPA, MSCPA, and other professional organizations. EVALUATING INTERNAL CONTROLS – WHAT COULD GO WRONG? CPE: 4 General Thursday, June 24 | 1:00pm – 4:30pm Wilkins M. “Wil” Crawford, Jr., CPA Wil has over 14 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to telecommunications, governmental, not-for-profit, higher education and various other clients. Wil also serves as a director for BKD’s Jackson office. He was awarded the Silas M. Simmons Bronze Medal for the 2007 CPA Exam. He also has served as president of the MSCPA Young CPA Network, chair of the MSCPA Governmental A&A Committee, millennial chair of the MSCPA Long Range Planning Committee, an MSCPA board member and was the 2015 winner of the MSCPA Rising Star Award. Wil is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a B.S. degree in accounting and an MPA. Barry Melancon Barry is the CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the most influential body of professional accountants in the world with 650,000 members and students. Formed in 2017, it combines the strengths of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), which Melancon also leads as President & CEO. Melancon joined the AICPA in 1995 when he was 37 years old, and is now the longest serving CEO in the organization’s 129 year history. Under his tenure, the AICPA has grown to become the largest membership body of CPAs in the world and has spearheaded a number of initiatives to benefit not only the profession, but also investors, business owners, lenders and the general public. Prior to joining the AICPA, Melancon served for eight years as Executive Director of the Society of Louisiana CPAs. He began his accounting career in 1979 at a small CPA firm in Louisiana and was elected a firm partner in 1984.
