2020 Michigan Ride Calendar the essential guide to organized bicycling events RIDE WITH LMB IN 2020 JUNE 6 JUNE 18-21 JULY 11-18 AUG 1-8 1
Wouldn’t you rather be on a bike right now? Flying along with nothing between you and the ground but two tubes of pressurized rubber? Feel- ing the burn in your legs as they power you through yet another mile of pure unadulterated freedom? Because that’s exactly what a bike means: freedom. Freedom from gas prices, car repairs, bad traffic, sitting too long. The chance to move like the wind on your own steam. Trouble is, it’s tough out there for people on bikes. No respect. Nobody in your corner. Well, you’ve got us. We’re the League of Michigan Bicyclists. We’ve got your back. We tell the folks in Lansing what people on bikes need to be safe. We get laws passed - like the law that drivers have to give at least 3 feet of space when they pass you on your bike. That was us. We got that one through. That’s not all. We’ve got plans. Big plans. Just one thing: they can’t happen without you. Time to step up. Become a member today at LMB.org/join. Let’s ride. 2
