PAGE 2 INSIRE, EMPOWER AND ELEVATE ELEVATE WOMEN INITIATIVE Elevate Women Initiative is dedicated to advancing women's leadership and economic empowerment. The initiative has three areas of focus locally and globally: - Leadership - Economic empowerment - Philanthropy The Elevate Women Approach The objective is to advance gender diversity in leadership in order for women to have more decision making opportunities amongst leaders in our society. This initiative is designed to empower the workforce through constructive dialogues on the challenges women in leadership face today; while simultaneously promoting inclusive leadership and the development / implimentation of gender diversity strategies. The initiative gathers knowledge, celebrates and recognizes leaders and corporations advancing gender diversity in our society. Together, we build thriving communities, a much stronger world, socially, economically and politically. Ultimately, creating the change we need to see for women today and for generations to come. What makes Elevate Women unique is the ability to bring together men, women and gender diverse leaders from all sectors to be part of the conversations that are shaping our society while also creating opportunities for women to grow as leaders in a supportive environment. Our goals: 1. Support more women thrive as leaders in our soceity 2. Contribute to the Canada's objectives of advancing gender diversity in senior decision-making positions 3. Support corporations improve and advance gender diversity in leadership 4. Enhance the lives of women and girls facing inequality globally. 2019
PAGE 3 2019 INTERNATIONAL WOMEN LEADERSHIP FORUM The 2019 International Women's Day Leadership Forum's objective is to advance women’s leadership and economic power. The Forum focuses on: • Education • Empowerment • Excellence This initiative is align with Canada’s commitment to encourage an increase number of women in senior decision-making positions in Canada and gender equity in Canadian companies. The leadership forum is a jam packed 2-day event that is designed to empower the workforce through education and the advancement of inclusive, responsible and effective leadership. There will be thought provoking speakers to spark constructive dialogue amongst private, public and not-for profit sectors. Unorthodox and stimulating, in addition to elevating your leadership development, this leadership forum will invite each participant to do a bit of work through targeted workshops that are focused on empowerment and self-leadership to advance gender diversity in our leadership capacity. This year, Elevate Women’s theme is “Making Progress”, focusing on education, responsible and inclusive leadership; we are challenging ourselves to have constructive dialogues as Canadians on where we are today, and then taking realistic steps on how we are going to move forward by making a greater commitment to towards advancing gender diversity in senior decision-making positions and gender equity in Canadian companies. The leadership forum includes thought leaders, forward thinkers, visionaries on gender diversity, executive leadership training, mentoring and high level networking. 2019

PAGE 5 INSPIRING SOCIAL INNOVATION Locally and Globally Moving from coast to coast, country to country we gather the concerns, challenges and recommendations on how we can best support women advance in leadership positions. Elevate Women promotes cross-sector partnerships, bringing together women in business, corporations, government, philanthropy and education while giving exposure to organizations and companies and groups that are elevating women's leadership in our society today. Innovative solutions to advancing gender diversity in leadership Outcome As a result of the Elevate Women Initiative, Elevate International is designing a Gender Diversity Best Practices Report that will include constructive action points from government and corporate leaders, women in leadership, while also identifying and gathering gender diversity strategies and best practices from corporations across Canada. This report will be shared with leaders and corporations to further support those who are continuously seeking to improve gender diversity amongst the leaders of our society. In an era of infobesity, the is a need for greater collaboration and partnerships in order to see progress. 2019
PAGE 6 ELEVATE WOMEN EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP BOARD As a result of the Elevate Women Initiative on March 8, 2019 Elevate International will announce the Elevate Women Executive Leadership Board. At Elevate International we wholeheartedly believe in working with our community to design our future together; which is why our call to action is uniting Executive Women in leadership to define a leadership path for women to advance C-level executives positions The Elevate Women Executive Leadership Board will be composed of c-suite level female leaders, working with Elevate International for a year to define and design a leadership competency framework for women to advance in leadership position. Although commitments to gender diversity are at an all-time high in many sectors, a critical gap between commitment and action continues to be an issue. Many companies and organizations want to see women advance, but do not have measurable goals or an actions plan to advance gender diversity in leadership. Strategies for implementations and leadership competency framework will be published in an Elevate report that will be presented during the 2020 International Women’s Day Summit. 2019
