m p Q Ca uideu i c k G Frequently Asked Questions Who may attend Camp Cahinnio and Camp Crossed Arrows? Any girl entering grades 1-12 in fall of 2019! If the camper is not currently a Girl Scout but has been before, an additional $25 will be added to the camp fee, registering camper as a Girl Scout until Sept. 30, 2019. If the camper is new to Girl Scouts, an additional $35 will be added to the camp fee, registering the camper as a Girl Scout until Sept. 20, 2020. Membership fee is non-refundable. How will I receive information once I register for camp? m Ca io p Ca h i n n Betony "Freedom" Maringer, Camp Director Betony joined Girl Scouts as a Brownie. As she grew, Camp NOARK became her summer home. Later, she was fortunate to experience the diversity of Girl Scout camps in three different states. Betony studied outdoor recreation at the University of Arkansas and agri-ecology at Prescott College in Arizona. Betony was thrilled to bring her adventures full circle and come back home to Arkansas in 2016 to begin making magic with her fellow Girl Scouts at Camp Cahinnio! 10 1111

Camp o s s Cr rows e d Ar Linda "Nike" Archer, Camp Director Linda has been a Girl Scout since grade school and attended Camp Cahinnio from the early 1990s through her college years. Linda attributes much of her character and life skills to camp! She has been a camper, counselor, lifeguard and became the Camp Director at Camp Crossed Arrows in 2012. She can’t imagine a more fulfilling career! Want more camp? Linger Longer with us! Girls entering 4th grade and up can stay until Sunday by choosing to "Linger Longer" after their session. Crossed Arrows Sessions: Girls Entering 6th-9th Grade Camp Crossed Arrows: Horsemanship Program Moonlight Madness: Experience camp after the sun goes down. Girl Scouts – Diamonds strives to make camp a possibility for all girls – financial difficulties should never be the reason a girl can’t experience the life-changing lessons found at camp. Camp financial aid, or camperships, are offered by Girl Scouts – Diamonds for summer resident camp programs at Camp Cahinnio and Camp Crossed Arrows on a limited basis.
