one, the V8 Supercars Gold Coast 600 is a great reason to get away for a bit of a ‘boys trip’ to Surfers
Paradise. The on-track action will be amazing with the drivers taking on the tough Surfers Paradise
street circuit, the weather will be scorching and the off-track entertainment will be excellent as the
Gold Coast is renowned for its nightlife! Plus, it’s Labour Weekend, meaning that’s one less day to

Our packages to the 2018 Gold Coast 600 include;

   •   Return Air New Zealand or Virgin Australia ‘Seat & Bag’ airfares departing to the
       Gold Coast (or Brisbane) on Thursday 18th October and returning on Monday 22nd

Optional Extras:

Upgrade to ‘The Works’ airfares
Upgrade to Air New Zealand or Virgin Australia ‘The Works’ airfares, which also includes
seat selection, in-flight food and beverages and movie entertainment.
Extra $60 per person (covers both flights)

Upgrade to a track view apartment
Upgrade to one of Mantra Sun City’s track view apartments and be able to watch the racing
Action from your balcony.
From an extra $520 per person

Stay an extra night or two in Surfer’s Paradise and/or Brisbane
If four nights isn’t long enough for you, then we can extend your trip. Just let us know if
you would like to stay extra nights.

Upgrade your event tickets – Our package includes 3-Day General Admission tickets to the
2018 Gold Coast 600, however, you may
wish to upgrade your tickets to either
Grandstand or Corporate Hospitality passes.
Options are;

3-Day Flexi Fan Stands (Stands: 5, 7, 18, 20
& 26) – Extra $150 per person
These stands are positioned at various
points around the track and are completely
unreserved, which gives you the flexibility to
choose a seat from the various flexi stands
and also offers you the freedom to move around the track and change seats throughout the event.
These stands are not covered and do not have a view of a big screen.

3-Day Platinum (Stands: 3, 12, 13, 15, 21 & 23) – Extra $280 per person
Platinum stands are the only covered grandstands and have good views of a big screen.

Pit Lane Walks – Extra $45 per person
This pass gives you the opportunity to walk the Pit Lane and see the teams in preparation for the day.
Pit Lane Walks are for the Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning.

3-Day Corporate Hospitality – Starting from an extra $1,920 per person (for all 3 days), extra $1,650
per person (Saturday & Sunday) or extra $1,050 per person (Friday)

What You Need to Know:

Flights
While our package pricing is for flights departing from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or
Queenstown, let us know if you would prefer to fly out of a different airport and we can
cater the quote to suit you.

Where ever possible, we will quote direct airfares to Coolangatta (Gold Coast), however, if
no direct option is available, we will have you fly to Brisbane and then arrange transfers to
Surfer’s Paradise. Our package includes ‘Seat & Bag’ airfares, which allows you 7kg of carry
-on baggage and 23kg checked in luggage. With food, drinks and entertainment available to
purchase on board. Let us know if you would prefer we quoted your package with Air New
Zealand ‘The Works’ airfares, which include these extras.

Accommodation
We prefer to use the 4-Star Mantra
Sun City Resort in Surfer’s Paradise,
they offer a good range of hotel and
apartment style accommodation
with the option of upgrading to a
track view apartment. Take your
choice from either a Studio Room
(Queen or 2 singles), 1-Bedroom
Apartment (Queen Bed or two
singles), 2-Bedroom Apartment (2
Queen Beds or 1 Queen & 2 singles
or 4 singles) or 3-Bedroom
Apartment (3 Queen Beds or 1
Queen & 4 Singles or 2 Queens & 2 Singles).

Tickets
Our packages include 3-Day General Admission tickets to the 2018 Gold Coast 600, although
we have a number of grandstand and corporate hospitality options available.

Transfers
Included in the package are transfers from Gold Coast or Brisbane Airport to your Surfers Paradise
accommodation and from the hotel back to Gold Coast or Brisbane Airport. Free public transport to
and from the circuit is also included, just by showing your race ticket.

Insurance
We include Cover More Essentials Travel Insurance with our packages. If you already have
