This website has been created and designed as part of the Welsh Government’s support for libraries. National Library of Wales The National Library of Wales also offer a wide range of free online resources to residents of Wales including, Newsbank, business journals, Credo reference, Welsh Newspapers & journals, Tithe maps, Archive newspapers and image banks. Find My Past- Family History Enjoy some family history detecting while you are at home with 'Find My Past'. The website is available FREE on a temporary basis to library members. They offer nearly 1000 free courses across 8 different subject areas. The courses are available to start right away. The Skills Toolkit Free digital and numeracy courses to improve your skills. Elefriends is moderated daily by the Ele handler team from 10am to midnight The NHS Wales website lets you learn more NHS Wales 111 about your health through an A-Z encyclopedia, you can also search in your own time for local NHS services such as dentists, pharmacies or support groups in your area. The Sofa Singers The Sofa Singers is a free & weekly online singing event from James Sills that brings hundreds of people together from around the world to spark joy and human connection. Theatr Clwyd Together Theatr Clwyd are bringing the theatre, art and creativity that happens on stage direct to you. They will be uploading and sharing theatrical moments, creating improvised songs to dance workshops and sharing behind the scenes footage. National Library of Wales The National Library of Wales has a vast and fascinating array of online Welsh digital resources including Tithe maps of Wales, Welsh Journals Welsh Newspapers, Dictionary of Welsh Biography, British Film institute archive and the Cymru 1914 project Papur Fama Read your local Welsh language community magazine Papur Fama online Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru (GPC) is the only standard historical dictionary of the Welsh language. It is broadly comparable in method and scope to the Oxford English Dictionary.

CHILDREN’S PROMISE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE Bookworms Bookclub Bookworms Book Club is the uLIBRARY dedicated book club for younger listeners. Bookworms allows children to enjoy the same audiobook at the same time and discuss it not only with members of their own library, but with Bookworms members around the world. Every month a new great children’s audiobook will be added to the uLIBRARY Book Clubs tab for you to listen to and discuss for one month. SIX STEPS VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS Aura Leisure and Libraries understand that libraries are a vital link for blind and partially sighted people and we commit make them as accessible as we can. We follow the Six Steps with RNIB and Share the Vision to ensure our libraries can support people with reduced vision. Reading Sight Reading Sight is a one-stop shop for people who are looking for information that will help them to support visually and/or print impaired readers. RNIB Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities they offer help and support for blind and partially sighted people. Calibre Calibre Audio is free to join for everyone who has a print disability. ClearVision ClearVision is a postal lending library of children’s books designed to be shared by visually impaired and sighted children and adults.
