COVID-19 Update Phase 4 - Effective Monday, February 1, 2021 Region 7 has moved to Phase 4 from Phase 4-Tier 1. IDPH will track various metrics to determine if we can remain in Phase 4 or if additional mitigations are required. Below is the status of our facilities during this mitigation portion of phase 4. Prairie Bluff Golf Course • Golf course will allow 4 golfers per group with single rider carts or duel riders. Carts will be on a first come first serve basis. Tee times are in 10 minute increments • Driving range is open with proper distancing • Practice areas are open with proper distancing • The pro shop is open with a limit of 10 people Lockport Township Park District Commissioners Prairie Bluff Restaurant Jeff Rigoni • Due to the cold temperatures, the restaurant is closed February 26, 2021 President • Restaurant hours starting 2/26/21: Sunday and Monday: Closed, Tuesday-Thursday: 11am-3pm and Friday and Saturday: 11am-7pm • Banquets up to 50 people Challenge Fitness • Face coverings must be worn at all times, unless engaged in individual exercise • Fitness rooms will operate at no more than 50% capacity or 50 people • Indoor group fitness classes are allowed • Group and individual/private tennis lessons will be available • Individual lap swim will be available as well as private swim lessons • Hot tub, steam room and the nursery room will remain closed Jodi Rigoni Preschool Vice-President • Phase 4 mitigations do not apply to schools, so no changes OASIS • OASIS is based on the status of the schools DPCC • Recreation programs will resume with face coverings required for all activities at all times if 6 feet of social distancing can’t be maintained • In-person Silver Sneakers will resume on Monday, 2/1 at 8:30am • Gym rentals will be available • Multipurpose room rentals will be available Gladys Fox Museum Don Bauer • GFM will be available for rentals Treasurer • Recreational programs will resume with face coverings Fairmont Community Center • FCC will be available for rentals • Food panty operations have moved inside due to the weather with 10 people allowed in at a time, face coverings are required Playgrounds /outdoor bathrooms • Playgrounds are open to groups limited to 50 individuals or fewer and individuals must follow all other applicable IDPH guidance, including face covering and social distancing guidance • Some outdoor bathrooms are currently open but may be closed in the coming weeks based on James Louch, Jr. weather Commissioner Outdoor fields • Face coverings required for all activities at all times if 6 feet of social distancing can’t be maintained • Participant groups and practices are limited to 50 persons or less with social distancing. The Lockport Township Park District is unable to guarantee enrollment and is not responsible for lost or late mail. Additional classes may be added to accommodate enrollment. The Park District reserves the right to change or alter information printed in this publication such as policies, fees, times or locations. We try to give as much notice as possible for these changes and apologize for any inconvenience. Registration Policy Programs will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Mail-in and drop-off registrations will be processed after walk-ins. All programs have a minimum and maximum enrollment. If a class is filled, waiting lists will be formed and every attempt will be made to accommodate persons on that list. Proof of residency, tax bill or voter ID card along with current driver’s license is required for early registration and discounted price of programs. Residency must be updated once a year. NSF Checks A $30 fee will be charged to persons presenting NSF checks for Lockport Township Park District programs. This fee must be paid at the administrative office prior to participation in the program. Program Refund Policy 1. A full refund is granted on any program cancelled by the Lockport Township Park District due to insufficient program registration. 2. A $10 administrative fee will be charged to refund requests. 3. No refunds will be granted after the start of the program except for a medical excuse or relocation out of the area. A doctors note is required with the refund request form. The refund will be pro-rated from the time of the request along with a $10 administration fee. 4. All refund requests must be made in person in writing at the DPCC, 1811 Lawrence Ave., or Challenge Fitness, 2021 Lawrence Ave. in Lockport. 5. Preschool O ur primary goal is to provide your child with a stimulating environment in which they can grow. This program will give your child a variety of experiences, which will promote social, emotional, intellectual and motor skills. We strive to give each child a positive feeling of self-worth. OASIS Recreation Supervisor, Sarah Hamilton, Ext. # 208 The Lockport Township Park District’s before and after school OASIS program is designed to keep the participants active, engaged, entertained and socially involved through a variety of activities with in a safe and supervised setting. Activities such as: free play, sports, games, arts & crafts, snack time, and time for homework is conducted on a daily basis by qualified staff right in the comfort of the children’s home school.
