WINNIPEG
OPENS!
This year marks a milestone for us, opening
our 40th MR MIKES store! We officially opened
our doors in Winnipeg on June 24th! Yuzheng
Jiang, Dennis Li, Rico Li, and Shaun Xu came
together to become the franchisees of the Winnipeg
location. Together, they offer more than 10 years
of franchise experience which includes operating a
local Tim Hortons and a pizza franchise.
All funds raised throughout their opening went to
Winnipeg Harvest, a not-for-profit, community-

based organization. Their goals are to collect and
share surplus food with people who are hungry and
to offer training opportunities to help people step
up and out of poverty. Congratulations MR MIKES

Rockin’ River Music Fest
MERRIT, BRITISH COLUMBIA
We sent 14 contest winners to get their country on with
our Cowgirl Crew on the MR MIKES VIP Party Patio! Craven Country Thunder

We sent 16 lucky MR MIKES guests to
enjoy the likes of musicians like Dierks
Bentley and Luke Bryan. Four guests
were lucky enough to snag meet and

the ‘Tough as Huck’ golf tournament

We’re told that to be successful leaders, we need

and showcase our confidence (arrogance)
and charisma. We’re told success comes from
being seen as a leader and never, ever as a follower.
Well, get ready to change that worldview, as research
conducted by organizational psychologists Kim Peters
and Alex Haslam is about to blow that out of the water.
12 Days of Canada >>
12 Days of Canada
In celebration of Canada’s 151st, we put a spin on
the classic tune and counted down the 12 Days
of Canada. Each day on social media we revealed
the next line in the song and asked our guests to
suggest lyrics for the following day’s post.
We saw some very creative entries from guests
including majestic beavers, Celine’s a-sinkin’, and
moose a-matin’!
In the end, we re-capped
with a video of fellow
Canadians singing the song PreTTy DAM
in its entirety. FUNny, EH?

We’ve got a
cure for those
Late night hunger has met its match!
Guests will love our easy-to-inhale late night
‘recreational’ snacks. One taste and their
hunger pangs will go up in a puff of smoke.
MR MIKES launched a Late-Night menu this past July
featuring popular items like our Tomato Bruschetta
and our newly added-to-the-menu perogies.
We also introduced our guests to the Big Mike. We
took our Classic Mikeburger to a whole new level
with double the patties, double the cheddar cheese,
Mikes Sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and a dill pickle.
Happy? It’s a joint effort, Justin time!
