I am at my happiest sat by the flickering light of an evening camp fire, with game walking through the camp site and lions roaring in the distance. Botswana is basically on our doorstep and less expensive than the Serengeti – there are fewer visitors and the game is in abundance! On this tour, every effort is made to give South Africans the opportunity to experience an authentic and unique safari similar to that provided to overseas visitors. Our guides and partners are world-class and you will experience nature close-up and at its best. DAY 1: MAUN – GATEWAY TO THE DELTA The group will gather at the Maun Lodge at 17h00 for a ‘meet and greet’. We get to know each other better and share expectations for the journey ahead over drinks and dinner. Our first night’s accommodation is at this extremely popular hotel.
