At FMC Natatorium, we offer swim lessons in our 25 yard training pool. Our lessons will be held to a ratio of
3-4 swimmers per instructor. Swimmers are tested and placed by ability and level. Once they meet the criteria
for that level, they will advance to the next level. Swimmers can move levels at any time based on attaining the
goals for that level. Placement will be determined by instructors.
Our Group Lessons are recommended for children and toddlers ages 4 to 11 years. For non-swimmers over 12
years of age, please contact the Front Desk for a program to meet their individual needs.
Monday - Thursday for two weeks for a total of 8 classes. You will pick the session and the time.

What the heck is pickleball— and why is everyone playing it?
Never heard of pickleball? Well, you’re probably not alone. But know that you’re missing out on one
the fastest growing sports in the U.S. The game is played on a court about 1/3 the size of a tennis
court using a modified style net, paddles and whiffle ball. It contains elements of tennis, racquetball,
badminton and ping pong, which is one of the reasons it’s so popular. As well as being easy to learn,
the sport can be played at almost any age, so even seniors can get the benefit of regular exercise.

Park District Room Rentals
Are you looking for the perfect space for your next meeting or special event? The Park District offers a variety of facility
and park rentals to accommodate both small and large gatherings. It is the intent of the Memorial Park District to make
its facilities and parks available to the public on a fair and equitable basis. The following rules and regulations will outline
necessary steps.

Meeting Room Rules and Regulations
It is understood that your organization will comply with the laws of the State of Illinois and Memorial Park District regulating the use of park buildings and property:
1. You may decorate the room. Glue, staples and nails are not allowed.
2. The Memorial Park District does not provide decorations.
3. Be responsible for any damages to the buildings, grounds, or equipment.
4. Be responsible for and shall assume liability for all persons participating in your organization’s activity and for all persons in attendance thereof.
5. No alcoholic beverages shall be served on the premises.
6. No amplified music.
7. Smoking or use of illegal drugs in the gym area is not permitted.
8. Fighting or abusive language is not allowed.
9. Street shoes are not allowed to be worn on the gym floor during play, only gym shoes. Shirt must be worn.
10. No one shall be allowed to charge a fee or accept money donations or gifts to enter any part of the park/pool, without written permission from
the Board of Commissioners.
11. No one shall be allowed to sell food or beverages, unless the Director of Memorial Park District with the approval of the Board of
Commissioners approves it.
12. The last 1/2 hour of the event is allocated for clean up. Tablecloths and decorations are to be removed and placed with other garbage in the
containers provided. Kitchen counters and tables are to be wiped clean and left in the same condition as found. Noticeable floor debris should
be swept.
13 You must vacate the premises at the hours designated on the application. There will be a charge of $35 per every 30 minutes
past your contractual time.
14. The permit holder must be present at the event.
15. It is the permit holder’s responsibility at the end of the event to ensure that all minors and young adults have a safe and dependable ride home.
16. Room rentals require a minimum of 3 business day notice before event.
17. $25.00 Cancellations Fee - Cancellations must be made 72 hours before event.
If any violation of the contract occurs, the event will be closed down by the Security Department and all fees will be forfeited.

OPEN GYM Take advantage of our Open Gym hours for fitness walking or a pick-up game of basketball. You can participate during
the scheduled hours by purchasing an annual Open Gym pass. Your pass allows you access to the Eisenhower or Sharp
