Project - At Home In The Kitchen
Over the next three months, St. John’s is going to be talking about
food and ingredients that could be shipped or grown in our very
own province. Particularly, specific foods – and special ingredients –
that are a taste of home. Between now and December 2021, the
project will feature a series of in-person and online consultations
with cultural communities, farmers, vendors, distributors,
marketers, and other key stakeholders from the food sector aimed
at understanding the social and economic benefits of access to
cultural food and ingredients and potential to develop social
enterprises by meeting the food needs of our diverse communities.
There will be a small honorarium of $20 for all participants, in
appreciation of their time and commitment to our project." For
more details, please see the attachments and contact
michelle.dc@mwonl.com.

RecreationNL, Eat Great & Participate - Focus
Groups
Eat Great & Participate, Recreation Newfoundland and Labrador,
has engaged Narrative Research to conduct online focus groups
with youth between the ages of 16 and 21.

The purpose of the focus groups is to better understand youth’s
perceptions on making healthy food and beverage choices, and how
we can encourage youth to be involved in advocating for more
healthy food and beverage choices in recreation, sport and
community settings.

The focus groups will take place via Zoom, and will last
approximately one and a half hours. You will receive a $65 incentive
as a thank you if you qualify and take part.

If you are interested in participating, please complete this short
online questionnaire to see if you qualify:

Since there is limited space, we will only be contacting those
selected to participate. Should you have any questions about this
