What happens …… An opportunity for parishioners to: • enhance their knowledge and understanding • consolidate and question • gather and share faith • support the faith journey of others • encounter Christ
What’s going well…… • Parishioners (and others) attend • Horizons are broadened • New insights may occur • Exposure to current understanding • The gathering and hospitality • The discussion over supper • More people offering their gifts to the parish
Even better with ……… • More people attending • A more regular format • More people becoming involved in the liturgical life of the parish: if everyone did something, there would be less pressure on some to do ‘everything’
Even better with ……… • More variety of speakers and topics • Utilising a variety of formation models to address the diversity of parishioner backgrounds, faith journey, interests, and needs

History of Website • Originally developed by year 12 student from Lavalla college as part of his project. Did a fantastic job at the time – a lot is involved in getting a site up.
New Website • In August 2016, it was identified that that the site needed to be updated as the code used was quite basic and needed to be changed • On September 1 2016, the new website was launched. Website is using wordpress and is easy to update and navigate. 3 of our parishoners kindly agreed to finance the development of this new website • 37,000 unique visits have been made to the site in 2 years. • Among the things updated on the site include, Notices and rosters, Bulletins, Events, Sacramental information, Ministry updates e.g. Youth Ministry, Micks Kitchen, Touring statue of Mary and many more
Communicating The Message • Currently celebrating year of the youth and our recent art completion in the primary schools. • Website is updated on Volunteering basis. We only use professional services if we require to change anything in the functionality. • Any suggestions to help improve the website and make it an effective communications tool in the parish is most welcome. This includes web development experience.
