It’s a great place to let the kids let off stream if you are staying nearby. If you want to experience a larger playground, which is fully fenced (great if you have a wee escape artist), I know many of you are travelling down as a family or with your significant other. Tutor – Nathan Taylor Tutor - Libby Jonson Strantarsia Sweater Skills 20g of each of two colours of yarn to work into the swatch described below. Use two highly contrasting, solid colours, and a nice smooth yarn 4mm & 2.5mm circular needles approx. 60 cm long; that is not too grippy Approx. 50 g of DK yarn 4mm or appropriately sized needles. Can be straights or circs. A wool needle A few stitch markers Homework A swatch worked as follows: Using DK-weight yarn, and appropriately sized needles, with your main colour, cast on 40 sts in the round, and work about 10 rounds of stocking Knit 2 Fit stitch/stockinette. Do not work any colour changes. DO NOT CAST OFF YOUR SWATCH! We will continue knitting it in the class. Your blocked swatch (approx 6” x 6”) in DK yarn, knitted in stocking- stitch on 4mm needles (preferably in the round); Demystifying Double-Knitting & NATHAN TAYLOR Day a pen One set of 4mm knitting needles.
