FAQs
● Kindergarten has a staggered start at Palm Beach Public, meaning that a few children
come to school on Monday (Aug. 10), Tuesday (Aug. 11) and Wednesday (Aug. 12). You
may choose the start day for your child and indicate which day you prefer at the top of
your registration packet. All students will come to school on Thursday (Aug. 13) and
    each school day thereafter.

● There is a 90-minute literacy block during which we teach reading and writing. After
being assessed in the beginning of the year, your child will be placed in the appropriate
reading group, which may change throughout the year.

● School hours are 8:00-2:05 PM. Classroom doors open at 7:45 AM.

● Free breakfast is available in the cafeteria from 7:30-8:00 AM.

● Fine Arts occur daily for 35 minutes and are on a rotating basis each week. They include
