1.Achieve ‘S’ (Satisfactory) for Unit 3 and 4 English group subject 2.Achieve ‘S’ for a minimum of three additional VCE or VET/VCE subjects 3. Gain 16 ‘S’ over Unit 1 – 4 subjects VICTORIAN CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION (VCE)
Option 1 VCE VCE Programme with a @ school-based NDC Religious Education subject. Option 2 TWO VCE Programme with a Unit 3 and 4 OPTIONS Religious Education subject.
Core Subjects OPTION 1 Choose your core subjects from the available subjects in each of the following areas: Religious Education (school-based) English Group Elective Subjects Choose four subjects from the VCE & VET subjects offered. These can include VCE Units 3 and 4 and/or *VET Year 2 subjects. * If a student is enrolling in an EXTERNAL VET Year 2 subject, they will need to complete an application form and have it approved prior to enrolment. Please collect a form tonight before you leave.

HOW IS YEAR 11 AND 12 DIFFERENT? School Assessed Coursework (SAC) - or Outcome Assessment Tasks (OAT) School Assessed Task (SAT) Internal exams General Achievement Opportunity to Test (GAT) change subjects after External Assessments - Unit 1 exams No opportunity to 2 -3 hours of study per change subjects – 3 & 4 school night sequence 6 VCE/VET subjects 3 hours plus of study per school night 5 VCE subjects
Each subject is given a study score out of 50 Both Units 3 and 4 contribute SAC/SATs and External Assessment - exam A score above 40 is outstanding!! STUDY SCORE
Your English subject will impact your ATAR significantly Alluniversity courses have a prerequisite for ENGLISH and the ENGLISH minimum study score is usually 25. Make English your friend. Complete the tasks given at the end of ECP. MOST Communicate regularly with INFLUENTIAL your English teacher Complete and gain feedback on draft assessment tasks

Post school options - workforce Traineeships Apprenticeships Employment Build your resume. Get your resumes, covering letters, possible work placements and job applications done as early as possible. Leaving it until ‘later rather than sooner’ usually means you are competing with more candidates!
