Traditions begin with history The Muskoka Ski Club was established in 1971 as Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Club. The name was changed in 2008 to utilize the recognition factor of the world‐famous Muskoka name. The members of the club purchased the Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area in 1971, making it one of Ontario’s oldest and most established ski areas. Included in the 120 Acres of property are 35 established acres of downhill skiing and snowboarding trails & 650 feet of beach frontage on beautiful Peninsula Lake. As part of your Membership you have access to the beach property for your summer‐time enjoyment. Situated in the world‐renowned vacation area of Muskoka, close to the town of Huntsville, the Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area offers 12 groomed trails ranging from our Beginner Hill to the black diamond run called The Face. There are trails suitable for all ages and abilities. Over the past 3 decades the infrastructure has been maintained and upgraded to ensure a long and safe season. The Ski Area boasts 3 quad chairlifts, 1 handle tow, 2 snow cats, night skiing & snowboarding and a competition class Terrain Park. 100% of the resort’s slopes are covered with snowmaking that utilizes some of the latest technologies in the industry. The resort boasts one of the longest seasons and some of the best snow conditions in Ontario year after year!

Testimonials “We are so excited that we decided to join the Muskoka Ski Club. During the past three years my son has progressed his skiing ability beyond what I ever anticipated a six‐year‐old could do. As an adult skier I have benefited from the strong, skilled coaches that offer sessions to take my skiing to the next level. We have gained new friends and enjoy our beautiful Muskoka winters at the hill. The Community that we belong to at the Club is safe and warm environment. I look forward to many more winters here." ‐‐ Angie Scott, 1st generation Member "As a kid I spent virtually every weekend in the winter at the ski hill as a part of the racing program. Through that program I made many lifelong friends that I otherwise would never have met. As we grew older, spending time at the hill became as much about socializing, catching up with old friends, and making new ones as about skiing. To me, being able to join the club was a no brainer, especially since my wife Elizabeth has learned to ski there and become a part of our social group. Programs like Friday night racing and snowshoe adventures have only helped to keep things fun and engaging." ‐‐Kyle Litchfield, 3rd generation Member
“My Family joined the Muskoka Ski Club when I still quite young. I joined the (then) Nancy Greene team and made many friends and had a great time. Every weekend was spent at the hill, something we all looked forward to during the week. I joined as a Heritage Member in 2014 along with my two brothers. Now all of our Families meet at the hill every weekend for family fun time. My children have joined the ski team and so the tradition continues. Driving into the parking lot feels like coming home.” ‐‐Kim Gronfors, 2nd generation "I joined the hill because of the great family experience I had as a kid growing up every weekend at the ski hill. I want my kids to have the same experience I had." ‐‐Trevor Groh, 3rd generation Member
