Congratulations Congratulations on your Engagement & Welcome to Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens! Whether you are dreaming of a quaint wedding for 30 people or a lavish affair with up to 250 people, our unique gardens offer a variety of indoor and outdoor options. Following your fairytale wedding ceremony we would like to invite your guests to continue celebrating your special day in our Rustic Treetops Room, or Magical Marquee. Now you too can have your dream garden wedding in one of Brisbane’s most picturesque settings. A wedding at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens offers you the unique advantage of having your ceremony, photographs and reception all in the same beautiful setting. The team at Bundaleer have absolute commitment and passion when it comes to ensuring your big day exceeds your expectations. We can assist you in finding the right celebrant, stylist, photographer, make-up artist, wedding cake specialist and all other services you may require when planning your special day. Our event manager – Sasha Donald has been with us for 7 years and is a true wedding professional. She will help guide your through the planning of your wedding at Bundaleer, from the day you first make your booking, right through to the moment you leave the property as newly-weds.
Our Ceremonies
Bundaleer has the beauty and facilities to have 2 weddings on the same day but still feel like you have
the venue exclusive. Our 2 ceremony areas are allocated to each venue on opposite sides of the
property to ensure guests are not crossing paths. Please note guests are allowed to enter the venue
15 minutes prior to your ceremony start time.
We have two stunning ceremony areas to choose from.
• Treetops Room ceremonies will take place at our Waterfall Deck.
• Marquee ceremonies will take place at our Jacaranda Tree.
We have wet weather options covers with under cover deck areas for your ceremony.

• Signing table and chairs
• Pillars with our topiary arrangement
Upgrades including arches and other decorating items can be done through our in-house stylist and
added to your invoice. See our webpage for more information.
Ceremony with Reception to follow package $1250.00
Ceremony Only (limited availability) $1650.00
(Pricing for maximum of 50 guests, for over 50 guests POA)
Ceremony only packages are for a duration of 2 hours, which includes your ceremony and photos in
our beautiful grounds. No fake rose petals or confetti are allowed.
Ceremony times will be set and confirmed by our event manager, so ensure exact timings are
received in writing before you book celebrants and photographers. We can only give you approx.
times when initially discussing your wedding. Ceremonies are held between 2.30pm and 4.30pm for
your ceremony, depending on the time of the year.
Our Reception Venues TreetopsRoom Following your ceremony at the Waterfall Deck, and canapes on the Kookaburra Deck, the rustic charm of the Treetops Room is the perfect space for a reception from 30 - 100 guests. Approximately 15m x 9m in size, the Treetops room is unique, rustic and charming. The room includes roof to ceiling windows on one side that open onto the lawn and bar area to give you the ultimate indoor/outdoor feel. Overlooking the creek and elevated in the trees, the building’s traditional timber construction offers a generous space with high ceilings and timber trusses providing a captivating and eye catching backdrop for your wedding. With 3 stunning chandeliers over the bridal table and a ceiling draped with 200m of fairy lights, the room provides the ideal atmosphere for rustic weddings through to glamour weddings, with the style of yesteryear. Our in-house stylist can assist you with your table centrepieces and decorating items to bring your vision to life. Marquee Following your ceremony at the Jacaranda Tree and canapes on the lawn area, the stunning purpose-built Silk Lined Marquee is the perfect space for a reception from 50 - 200 guests. Approximately 20m x 10m in size, and fully draped in white silk lining you will have flexibility to style the area from top to bottom. Whether it be beautiful and elegant or country and rustic, the choice is yours! What bride doesn’t love fairy lights? We have this covered with over 150 meters of magical fairy lights draped inside the silk lining on the roof. Take a peak at our wedding gallery and you will find a choice of round or rectangular tables as well as white Americana chairs. The Marquee lawn area is the ideal space for your guests to enjoy drinks and canapes between the formalities of your ceremony and reception. Set the scene with giant lawn games, as your guests relax amongst beautiful gardens with rustic wine barrels and a private pallet bar. Our in-house stylist can assist you with your table centerpieces and decorating items from outdoor couches to lawn games.
Alfresco for Lunch
Surrounded by nature our beautiful outdoor setting is available for lunchtime functions where your
guests can enjoy the great outdoors or a casual lunch under one of our decks.
Please note that availability is limited in peak season.
Byo Venue
Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens currently is a BYO licenced venue for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
drinks. We charge $17.50 per head corkage fee which covers bar staff, water, ice and glassware. We
allow premixed spirits only. This fee applies to children and non- drinkers also. Our recommendation
is 4-6 drinks per person. We have held 100’s of weddings over the years to know this
recommendation is correct. Some people will drink 10, some will drink 2. If you are supplying more
than 6 drinks per person we have limited space in our cold room and we will need to hire a cold room
at a cost payable by yourself.
Set up includes:

A bar will be set up at your wedding and drink service is available from the bar. This fee does not cover
table service. Bottles of wine can be placed on the reception tables if you wish.
Please be aware that we are mindful of our liquor licensing responsibilities, and are unable to supply
liquor to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage persons.

Ceremony hire $1250.00

Timings
Your ceremony start time will be determined by our events manager. Due to the fact we can hold 2
weddings at once at our property, timings for ceremony and the timings throughout the night will be
done for you. This ensures the smooth running of both weddings. Due to the residential location of
Bundaleer all music/entertainment must cease no later than 11pm.
Music
We have an in-house DJ or you can provide your own music for the evening. Bands are allowed but no
big drum kits. Amplified music outside the rooms or in the grounds is not permitted, and music must
not exceed 90db. Bundaleer does not provide sound systems or microphones in either venue. Ensure
that if you are providing your own music, your supplier is aware of noise level restrictions and they
must adhere to them.

Accommodation
There is no on-site accommodation at Bundaleer. We recommend the Jephson Hotel at Toowong
which is approx. 10 minutes away. Our preferred make-up artist and hairdresser (Carol Saint Pierre)
has a beautiful getting ready room across the creek for the whole bridal party. Enjoy your own private
deck, lounge room, make up room and getting ready area and watch your guests arrive at our venue
while you are sipping on champagne. Best of all save money on your transport as she will drive you to
the venue. Make up must be booked through Carol to take advantage of her area.
Decorating
We have an in-house stylist that can assist you with any decorating needs you require. You are
welcome to use outside decorators or do your own decorating. You are able to bump in after 11am
the day of your wedding, and arrangements must be made with our event manager. Bump out for
suppliers must be completed 30 minutes after your function ends.
Menus
There are several menu options to choose from. Dietary requirements will be catered for by our
incredible in-house chef. Children aged between 2-12 years are ½ price for their meal and we have a
selection of children meals available. Supplier meals can be provided at a discounted rate.
If you are using wedding cake as dessert you will need to provide your own option for those with
dietary requirements (eg. gluten free)

Licensing
Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is a BYO licenced venue. Please be aware that we are mindful of our liquor
licensing responsibilities, and are unable to supply liquor to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage
persons. Patrons showing signs of undue intoxication or disorderly behaviour will be refused service and may be
asked to leave the premises. Our corkage price includes premixed spirits only.
1. Tentative Bookings and Deposits
Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days only. The date is only confirmed when a booking fee of $1100 is
received together with a signed booking form. We reserve the right to cancel your tentative booking and
allocate the venue to another client if the booking fee is not received within 7 days. On paying your booking fee
you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions outlined.
A non-refundable booking fee of $1100 will be deducted off the total price of your function.
2. Booking/Timing Arrangements
Bundaleer will allocate your ceremony start time depending on the time of the year. Bundaleer has a number of
different weddings areas, with a maximum of 2 functions booked at any given time at the property. Ceremony
start times and timings for the evening are determined by Bundaleer to ensure the smooth running of both
weddings. Before you book celebrants, photographers or print invitations please make sure Bundaleer has
confirmed in writing a start time for your ceremony or wedding to avoid misunderstandings. Your 6 hour
package starts at the ceremony time. You can opt to extend up until 11pm at $300 per ½ an hour.
Guests are allowed access to our venue 15 minutes prior to your start time, as there may be another ceremony
beforehand.
3. Cancellations
If cancellation occurs, the following conditions apply:
• The booking fee is non-refundable or transferable.
• Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
• Bookings can be transferred to another date at a $350 fee, retaining the $1100 booking fee. Pricing
from you original quote will increase if pricing for the next year has changed.
• 50% of the total cost is due 3 months prior to the date of your function. This is a non-refundable
amount. Any cancellations under 90 days of the function will be required to pay 50% of the expected
revenue costs and a debt will be incurred by all signed parties. Final payment is required 21 days
before the function date and is a non-refundable amount.
4. Force Majeure
Bundaleer will not be liable for any failure, default or delay caused by an event such as acts of God, fire, flood,
storm or threats/acts of violence that occur beyond the reasonable control of Bundaleer. In the event of a force
majeure, notice will be provided as soon as reasonably practicable and there will be no further liability to you in
relation to the function nor will there be any further funds payable by you in relation to the function. All money
paid by you to the date of the force majeure will be refunded to you. Bundaleer is not responsible for any
additional costs incurred or for consequential loss of any nature.
5. Minimum and Maximum Numbers
Minimum Numbers apply for all packages, except the small and cosy packages and intimate packages.
• Minimum full paying adult numbers for all months except September/October is 50.
• Minimum full paying adult numbers for September/October on a Saturday night is 75
Please be aware if you will still be charged for the minimum numbers even if you do not have the amount of
guests to reach this.
6. Children and Minors
All children must be strictly supervised and remain with parents or guardians at all times during the function.
No liability will be taken with regards to the pool, creek or pond at Bundaleer. Children must be supervised at
all times around this.7. Payment and Final Numbers Final payment is required 21 days prior to the function in addition to final numbers and menu selection. This will be the minimum number charged to your account. Final numbers are to be confirmed 21 days prior to your function. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, direct credit or by credit card. (please note a 2% surcharge will apply to all credit card transactions). 8. Surcharges Functions on a public holiday will attract a surcharge. 9. Insurance/Damages The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage inflicted on the venue or equipment during the period of hire. All breakages must be paid for. Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is careful when looking after its guests and their belongings however, we cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property of the hirer or the hirer’s guests during the period of the hire. Wax spills causing damage and special cleaning fees will be at an additional cost to the client. 10 .Price and Menus The management reserves the right to vary menus and pricing from the original quote. If a booking fee of $1100 has been paid pricing will not vary. Children under 12 years half price after minimum numbers are achieved. 11. Music Bundaleer can provide an in-house DJ, or you are welcome to source your own DJ or band. Bundaleer does not have a sound system in either venue. Pack up time for musicians is 30 minutes after your function finish time. They may need to finish earlier to accommodate this. Amplified music outside the rooms or in the grounds is not permitted, and music must not exceed 90db. 12. Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited in all buildings and function areas and is only allowed in the designated areas. 13. Conduct at an Event/Noise Restrictions A wedding at Bundaleer is not permitted to commence before 8am or finish later than 11.00pm. All music and amplified sound must stop by 11pm. The bar will close 10 minutes prior to your finish time. You agree to begin your event at the scheduled time and agree to have all guests, invitees and other persons vacate Bundaleer at your scheduled finish time. You and your guests must conduct yourselves in an orderly manner and in full compliance with applicable laws. You must ensure no disturbances or nuisances will be caused to any guests, visitors or neighbours of Bundaleer. 14. Decorating We have an in house decorator, or you can use your own decorator for any additional decorating items/centrepieces you may wish to have. In the event that you have decided to decorate yourself you will be given access to the venue at 11am the day of your wedding for a 2 hour period only. Our staff will need access to the room at 1pm to set the tables, so all decorating must be completed by this time. Due to health and safety regulations ladders may only be used by a licenced decorator. 15. Rehearsal If you wish to have a rehearsal prior to your wedding day this will need to be scheduled with our events manager. Please note rehearsals are for your celebrant and bridal party only for no longer than a 1 hour period.
