VOW RENEWAL

With one of the most beautiful settings in Fiji, Royal Davui is the ideal
venue to re-commit to one another. Our renewal of vows ceremony
can range from a simple service at the beach to an elegant one at the
island’s sand cay.

ELOPE WEDDING

At Royal Davui Island Resort, Fiji we understand that some couples
do not want an elaborate wedding; therefore we offer the chance to
elope to paradise. This casual affair can be staged at a Fiji wedding
venue of your choice on the island. Witnessed by one of our staff this
is perfect for those wanting a simple beach side ceremony.
Eloping package includes:

DAVUI WEDDING

For those guests looking for the ultimate tropical island wedding, the
Davui Wedding Package is ideal!
This stunning package includes Fijian warriors, a Fijian Village choir,
tropical flowers plus an indulgent couples massage.
The Davui Wedding Package incorporates all features of the eloping
package plus:

REQUIRED PAPERWORK
Getting married in Fiji is an easy process, and we are here to help with every step along
the way. The following paper work is required 4 weeks prior to your arrival into Fiji.
A visit to the local registry office in Fiji is required in order to finalize the wedding li-
cense which our team will assist in arranging.

~Special Application License Form (Obtained from the resort)
~Single Status Certificate/Certificate of Search/Certificate of no Impediment
~Certified copies of passport bio page
~Certified copy of birth certificate
~Divorce Papers (if divorced)
~Death Certificate (if widowed)
~Passport photos of both parties

All necessary paperwork will be sent to the main land for processing immediately after the wedding.
Please note that this process can take up to 4 weeks at which point the certificate etc will be mailed to
your home address.

Please note some of the above services are provided by a third par-
ty and prices are subject to change without notice. Sunset weddings
may incur additional charges for overnighting the photographers.

Rates apply 1 April 2021 through 31 March 2023. Rates are in Fijian Dollars.
All wedding costs must be paid in full prior to arrival.
Rates are INCLUSIVE of VAT (9%) Environment Levy (6%) and Service Turn Over

WEDDING DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
The following documentation must be submitted to the resort 30 days prior to your arriv-
al. A visit to the local registry office is required and will be arranged by Royal Davui. This
visit must be during a weekday between 8am - 4pm. Please ensure you have at least 3
weekdays between your arrival and wedding date.

• Special Application License Form (Obtained from Royal Davui once the wedding has been
confirmed and deposited)
All Special Application License Forms must be typed in BLOCK LETTERS, no hand written forms will be ac-
cepted. Once completed the form must be printed, signed by the wedding couple and certified/notarized us-
ing a stamp by a JP, Registered Doctor or Solicitor in your country.

• Single Status Certificate/Certificate of Search/Certificate of no Impediment
Obtained from the Births, Marriages & Deaths Office of your current residence. This certificate will come with
one of the names above, it is to certify that the BMD Office does not have any record of you being currently
married.
An alternative can be provided only in the case where the Country or State of residence does not provide
any of the above certificates. If your Country or State of residence does not offer these certificates please
let us know right away so that we may contact the Fiji Registry office for the alternative documentation. This
will need to be certified/notarized using a stamp by a JP, Registered Doctor or Solicitor in your country.

• Certified/notarized copy of passport

• Certified/notarized copy of birth certificate

• Certified/notarized copy of divorce or death certificate if either party has previously been
married

• Passport size photo of both parties

• Scanned copies of the above must be received by the resort no later than 30 days from
arrival.

• Please keep all these documents in a secure place together as you MUST bring them all
with you to be presented and verified at the local registry office in Fiji.

If any of the documents are in a foreign language, they must be translated with seal of au-
thenticity.
