Your Three Day Guide to Tuscarawas County, Ohio
Day 1
Experience the world’s largest privately owned collection of steam
engines and a working facility at the Age of Steam Roundhouse.
Located in Amish country but watch out for buggies! Downtown
Sugarcreek is home to the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock with its
delightful musical performance. Enjoy local shops and the Brick
Wall Sculpture while you are here! Visit the Ernest Warther
Museum and Gardens in Dover to experience the phenomenal
talents of carver Mooney Warther whose passion for steam engines
drove him to create exact replicas of these mighty trains.
The Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, a National Historic
Landmark and located in an original train depot has a storied
WWII history. Tuscarawas County is home to Ohio’s First Pizza

Day 2
Tour Historic Schoenbrunn Village stepping inside the reconstructed
first church and school buildings on the 1770’s Ohio frontier. Historic
Zoar Village is a National Landmark District and your next stop.

touring original buildings and strolling through the large meditation
